More unlocked weekends please

    So did you guys enjoy the unlocked weekend? I was pretty surprised to log in and see all heroes available but it was great to be able to try them all, I now have played with every hero except cho and gall.

    I personally found quite a few heroes that I really enjoyed playing with, like Butcher whom I had tried once or twice before but didn't really like it. But towards the end with the fresh meat counter full he has pretty amazing dmg. :)

    They should definitely do more of these... maybe in more limited scale such as unlocking just one class of heroes for the whole weekend.

    I think it's a great way for people to try out new heroes. It keeps the game fresh and encourages people to buy heroes they like. It's a win-win situation and I would certainly like to see more unlocked weekends!

    It's a brilliant marketing tactic on their part. It gets a player invested in a characters that they like, and after the unlock is over they will most likely purchase a character or two. I know I fall for this all the time.

    I really enjoyed having all of the heroes unlocked, it allowed me to play with and experience with heroes I've never really had the chance to play with before. I'd like to see Blizzard do more things like this in the future, though I don't really expect it.

    Yeah, they really can´t do this too often because then people will just wait for the weekends and not buy the Hero. The idea is to give you enough time to like a hero, but then lock it away behind a payment.

    Same here, though I do all my purchases in gold instead of $$$ so I'm not exactly their target crowd. But I did end up getting Uther after this weekend and seriously considering getting Butcher too.

    It's awesome for them to unlock heroes for the weekend. It's sort of like the free samples you get at malls. It's always nice to sample it and you will become more likely to buy it.

    Once you get invested in a character, there is no going back. It's hard once you get to the style of a character, it's hard to let go and go back to a different character. I'm surprised Blizzard doesn't do this more often.

    They should do this at least once a month. They should certainly do it after updates, where we can get a feel for new features that are added. It's certainly a no lose situation for them.

    Once a month might be too much if it's all heroes. But something like once a month one type of hero (assassin, support etc) or heroes from way warcraft, starcraft etc. could be unlocked.

    It's obvious that for business reasons we won't be seeing the new heroes being unlocked but this method of unlocking certain classes would sort out that problem too.

    I enjoyed it a lot as well. I already like using less popular characters or or just ones that I never play in general so it really helped me get to experiment with a wider set. I hope they make it more frequent but I'm sure they will keep it limited as much as possible since there won't be reason to spend if it were done regularly.

    I enjoyed it. It's a great strategy for them to do that, it keeps the game more exciting and refreshing.
