Most annoying Minecraft moment?

I was building a giant sand structure. After 3 hours is was almost complete but then a creeper sneaked up to me and exploded, a big part of all the sand fell down and it was completely ruined. I got very very angry. I quit the game for a week but after a while I forced myself to continue.

 

The only annoying things for me, is when you play with other people and they steal things off your farm, or they destroy something your trying to make, and trying to figure out everything when you first start playing, I don't think I've had any annoying moments lately though.

 

That moment when you are mining and your pickaxe breaks. You also don't have any sticks.. or wood. Then, you have to go all the way back just to make a new pickaxe. The whole ordeal lasts only a minute or so but it's frustrating when your in the heat of the moment.

 

I had FINALLY found a skeleton mob spawn and did a mighty job of building a trap / farm out of it. Everything was going great and then I decided to build another entrance to it leading directly to my shelter - somehow in the process of digging out I hit the ocean and ended up flooding the entire area and drowned. I was too annoyed to try and fix anything and moved on.

 

It's probably when I fell down from the tower I'm building. So I was building this massive tower up a very high and steep cliff. I was scaling the sides of the cliff and laying down some stones to make a base for my tower, I was half way done with my tower and I'm really high up. I got smart and thought I should build a bed first since I might come across an accident and fell off and die and respawn somewhere randomly. As I was clambering down the tower slipped off the edge and I plunged down to my doom. 2 hours of work wasted.

 

Lava. Ugh, lava.

You're minding your own business, digging downward in pursuit of those sweet, sweet diamonds. You finally find a few and mine them! You're on your way back up to the surface when suddenly, you fall into a pool of lava. It burned your diamonds, too.

 

I don't know if any of you have encountered this before, but sand normally falls, like gravel. When a world is created though I often find places in the desert where it is suspended, if you step on it, or dig near it, it will all fall down right? Well, here I was digging up some sand to make glass with and just in a random spot in the desert and boom, steped into the wrong place and fell through the sand into the biggest dang crater I have ever encountered right into a lava pool, lost all my gear....it was a rage quite moment.

 

Probably that time when I was digging underground, I found a bunch of diamonds, iron ore, and redstone...and then I fell into lava and died. I came back to search for my stuff and it was all gone. That was rough.

Other moments were when I was making my mob farm, and a creeper blew up and all of my carefully constructed floors were completely messed up and there were mobs everywhere. Well anyway somehow I recovered, rebuilt everything, and it works now. Still needs tweaking though

 

The times I've tried to make a bridge in a huge underground cave, and accidentally unpressed Ctrl. During the fall I got that fuck that feeling and I've never survived a fall.

 

Once I was exploring deep underground and was VERY far from home and I found a huge ravine with like 10 diamonds on the wall. I was excited because these would of been my first diamonds so I could make a diamond sword and a pickaxe but just as I finished mining the diamonds, a creeper blew up right behind me but I survived. As soon as I turned around, there was another one and that killed me

 

I made a new world and started by building a small treehouse in a tree in a far away jungle. I went to start gathering resources almost immediately in a huge cave system I found. I came back with almost 20 diamonds, a few stacks of iron and gold, and a ton of other resources. I was just starting and this was the best start I had ever and still have ever had in a world. It was great and I as on my way back when I was killed by a creeper. When I died, I was at the base of my treehouse about to climb up. Getting back my stuff would be pretty easy but the game crashed soon after. The world became corrupted and by the time I fixed it I could not find my treehouse again.

I once was with a friend building a house, perfecting every inch of it and making everything have equal sides and then a creeper came up to me, oh no, I had no sword. I swung my fists so hard, I beat it. My victory was great but then came the misery, a creeper came behind me and blew up a vital part of the house, I cried that night.

 

When you dig and dig and then you finally make something cool underground only to have yourself die by falling into lava or a dark abyss. It's happened a lot of times, and I cannot stress how annoying it is.

 

Always have a bucket of water in your hotbar! it has saved my life loads of times

 

I had a bunch of resources and armor and a cool base.. but then I went exploring too far and I lost my spot and treasures

 

I agree that the crafting can be a huge pain. What I hate is if your trying to go down a ladder and the space to climb down on to it is only one block.

I'll sometimes spend 30 seconds just trying to get down through that tight space.

 

Playing with my friends always gets really annoying for me, which is also one of the many reasons why I play by myself. The moment my friend stole and destroyed another of my friends house and his horse, and so the entire building time we just kind sat there and listened to them argue, it was ridiculous and that's why I hate playing with them.

 

When you find diamonds and die because of that lava you didn't saw...
