Most random moment ever that interupts your game

I can't remember what game it was, but I was in a guild siege and it was a even battle and towards the middle of the siege my power went out I didn't log on till the next day, but it turns out we won!

 

BSOD. Hate them. They get me a lot, usually over a driver error or the fact that I need to get all the dust out of my computer.

 

Random events... Hmm... How about a cat that leaps onto your lap, spilling the tea and messing up the momentum of my PvP healing?

"Why did the healing stop?!" "Heal damn it! HEAL!" <--- was what I heard over the wire.

Which I said, "Cat! Face! Mmpfftmmfff..."

 

I don't usually get too interrupted at this point.

I can recall a particularly rough raid night in WoW a few years back, though, where someone else's interruption made us both laugh and cry. We had been working on this single boss for weeks already and we were SO close that night. So freakin' close! As in, less than 1% health left on the boss when we wiped the previous attempt.

It was getting late, though, and we had time for only one more attempt. We were going to give it all we had. We get everyone back into the room. Everyone takes a 2 minute break to pee, get a drink, wake up, etc, so we could focus everything on this attempt. Everyone flasks up. We do some last second upgrades and enhancements to try to squeeze "just a little more out." I did my pep talk. We're focused. We're ready.....

And suddenly, one of our rogues goes running across the room, straight into the boss. WTF??? His cat had jumped up on the keyboard, dropped him out of stealth, and hit auto-run. Needless to say, it pulled the boss, we wiped horribly, and then couldn't stop laughing because we had just gotten ourselves entirely ready....only to be wiped by a cat instead, lol!

 

What I hate most is the sudden power supply cuts. From where I live, they sometimes have random power outs. After spending hours questiing and grinding only to have everything shuts off without warning will make you insane. Even if you've saved it, there's risk of the save corrupting.

 

Bahahahaha!!! I've seen someone type "aeorfha34itohaerojgn"... followed by "damn cat."

 

I always hated someone picking up the phone while i was on dial up! Instantly broken connection, argh!

 

I don't have too many random moments during gaming, but I do remember playing The Walking Dead when a mosquito flew directly to my mouth for landing. I felt like I died.

 

I used to have a bunch of roommates and I lived in the room with a door that led to outside. All the time my roommates cat would interrupt my gaming by just coming to my door and meowing and scratching. Needless to say it was a little annoying.

 

Well i had a carrot stick thrown in my face once while i was so lost in the game. Apparently i didn't hear my brother calling out my name. Very classic huh? It hurts though, it's a carrot stick but it's thick and long. Jesus, i sound like I'm talking about something else entirely but nope, still talking about carrot stick here. LOL

 

I have two moments in which my games get interrupted. First, my cat will randomly decidr he wants attention. This will consist of jumping on me and batting my face, biting my controller or mouse. So, I have to pause for him. Second, when my husband comes home from work. He will run and jump on top of me.

 

Usually bathroom breaks. I play a long time and usually have a beverage or 5 when I play.

 

My mom calls.

 

Power went out.. It drove me crazy because it was at a super crucial time..

 

Thats really funny lol, so you did spit it right? or a you the type of girl that swallows?

 

My worst moment was when I was playing League of Legends and a moth landed on my nose, I was paralysed for about 3 seconds trying to work out what to do.

 

I remember one huge moment when my brother and I were playing WWE Smackdown on the N64 and my mom started yelling so we both ran upstairs. There was a mouse in the house.

 

It is also annoying when you have made progress in the game and then the electricity goes off and you haven't - of course - saved the game.
