Multiplayer

I don't know why... But I have the strangest feeling... We have a well used thread for this exact topic...

 

We do - though we use it for suggestions and our own ideas for the MP, not predictions. Though I guess that's really similar. Idk, someone else should decide.

 

i say we keep this thread. Its sometimes hard to know if there is a similar thread or not. Or sometimew we forget.

Anywho, if there is gonna be a multiplayer or wouldve been. Then id prefer a team on team game mode. like reds vs nazis. Or perhaps Rangers vs Bandits.

Maybe even a objecive game mode. Like for example a team has to capture a certain building outside or in a station?

 

Co-Op gets boring as hell, playing the same missions over and over.

I'd prefer it to be more like what Battlefield tries to be but not as crap. Where to win you have to rely on your team mates and think about what you're doing a little bit more than usual, objective based too of course, you have to take enemy positions and trolley combat would be cool too.

 

There is a possibility of multiplayer. They just put it on hold so they can put all their effort into the single player then see if they want to make a multiplayer dlc. But I would love a metro combat with trolleys and vehicles. Would be sick if there would also be mutants like how Resident Evil Operation Raccoon city has zombies all over the map. (Though the game sucks that idea is still a good idea) Would be cool if there was some Ranger vs Nazi combat or something like that. Or I would love the Hybrid system. If you guys played Hybrid the game is constantly changing where the two teams are fighting over control of dark matter and every time you win or lose a game it affects your team slightly. Would be cool to see that with Nazis and Communists. I know it won't happen but I would love a Planetside 2-Metro multiplayer.

 

I think this would of been the best, being able to chose a Map (A single Station, or two and the Route(s) between them and having a team vs. team setup, most likely the Reds vs the Nazi's

 

A stealth vs brutal force mode would be good.

One team plays very stealthy with Nightvision, throwing knives, silenced weapons, etc.
The other team plays normal with machine guns, flashlights, dynamite, etc.

The maps for this mode should be mostly dark with many lights that you can turn on/off, broken glass and other things that could betray your location.

Sadly it's (probaly) never going to happen

 

I just want a multiplayer. I couldn't give a shit if it was terrible or not. I'd just like to have the option to play some form of multiplayer.

 

I think the only way they could really add online into metro would be to make it a full co-op story game. Otherwise it would just feel clunky.
