As you know, I was gone for about a week, one week ago. I borrowed my father's old Nikon camera while he used his own newer one. I've used a lot of time deleting about half of all the pictures, and now I'm uploading the rest, the good ones, to my Photobucket. The folder with the pictures that my father have taken will have better quality both digitally and professionally, and a lot of them will contain me. My folder will have a little more pictures, but they will also be of very good quality.

First we climbed a mountain which was 1600 meters high, and just 20 meters in radius on the top, so you can imagine it was very steep. Then we climbed down, followed a river up to a crystal-clear blue lake formed by melting snow from the mountains above it. This is what the creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim have been trying to capture! :D

Link to the pictures I took:

EDIT: Here's the pictures that my father took, a lot of them contains me:

Let me post a few ones which I liked a lot:
    Backpack&Machete with nice view:

    Crystal-clear Blue water:

    Skyrim-like river:

This picture is taken 90% vertically, that's literally straight downwards into a canyon. What you see way at the bottom there are giant boulders.

    Pointy rock:

A good view with snow-mountains in the background, and those clouds above are a lot closer than they seem.

To show off how steep that mountain was, this was far from the most steep place, and that's already a lot more steep than what it looks like in the picture.

This is what we call, directly translated, "Source-water". Dunno why. It's fresh ice-cold water from the gleizures. (Ice-mountains).

Me walking towards the camera like a baws:

    Me again:

    And again, Stalker-like:

....And again, Photographing at its highest level:

Aaaaaand again, looking badass with the camera in my hand:

And one last time, sliding on snow in the middle of July:

Excuse the messy hairstyle, the wind was blowing incredibly powerfully up there, I could barely keep on my own feet :p

    :jaw:....'Nuff said.

These are very....very.... . .... .. ... very nice shots Skaara!!! To bad I can't think of a word to describe them . I'll write more after I go and satisfy my thirst that was caused by staring at your crystal clear water pcitures for too long.

Well, I finally finished satisfying my thirst :D.
How early did you have to get up, because it seem like a long walk to those mountains in pic #13, labeled as " Aaaaaand again, looking badass with the camera in my hand"? And in the same picture, is it the peak on the far right that you climb?

    Either way, it's still badass.

In that picture, the mountaintop we climbed was to the left, here:

And this pic is taken more than halfway up.

This August, I was on the longest and most exhausting trip in my life, and I loved it. I think I wrote about it somewhere on the forum, but can't really find it. Either way, I finally got the pictures from the trip and decided to show you guys a few of them here! :D

This is one of the many mountain-tops. I believe it's the smallest of them all. One of the guys took five pictures in a row whilst turning around. I put all the pictures together into one long strip, but he moved or zoomed (and used wide-sight camera), so it looks a bit weird. But at least it gives you the impression of how it looks. The extreme magnitude of that place can't be shown in a picture, but it's the best I can give you :p
    [IMG]
It's thousands of times larger than it looks. If there was a guy standing at the bottom of the lake there, you wouldn't be able to see him even if he was wearing a bright orange suit.

These two pictures are taken from the peak/top of Glittertinden, Norway's second tallest mountain.

This is from the bottom of the valley by the lake in the first pic:

Forgive all the anonymous faces  (I'm the one not anonymous)

Here I actually made a very wrong step, by missing the large rock. My whole leg just went straight down through the layer of snow/ice. Lucky I didn't cut or break my leg against the rock :p
    [IMG]

    Then, crossing the Gleizure:

    Pretty steep:

Yeah, it was a horribly long walk on large sharp rocks...

I also have a little video of when I mastered crossing a cute little river:

I've never seen the use of cheezy face cover-ups used anywhere else better than here!
Thanks for the laugh Skaara.

Some very impressive shots by the way.
