Need to learn to block better.

    I can never block the guys that glow red. Yea I can roll but sometimes I dont make it in time. Any tips on blocking?


    Also any tips on doing perfect hits or chains?

    Well, I'm afraid there is no tip other than learn the animations =/, usually those "red" hits are slower animations so you must time it slower than usually you will do, also don't spam the block, just wait for it.

    Frankly don't mash buttons period. Especially for perfect hit combos. This game is easier when you do slow and steady. I also just learned that holding the x and y buttons delivers a devastating hit(never played story yet). But for combos, I feel I get way more 150-200+ combos just pressing the buttons slow and timing it all nice. Pushing the buttons fast results in frantic movement which is very easy to overlook some small guy hitting you from the back.
