Out of all the new features upcoming in Fallout 4, which one do you find the most interesting, and think you will spend the most time on?

For me it has to be the settlement system. It reminds me of games like Terraria and I love base building, and the NPC's are a great addition as well.

Weapon customization looks particulary interesting. More customization is always great in any game! I hope there will also be randomized weapons scattered around the world, kind of like in Borderlands (but far less crazy). It would add a reason to loot every random thug as he would have a chance to have some awesome loot.

I also like the settlements system, since they will allow each player to personalize their experience and build a settlement they find appealing.

I am very excited about the new customization/crafting features. I feel like the recent influx of games like Day-Z, H1Z1, Rust, 7 Days to Die, etc. are all promising post-apocalyptic crafting FPS games, but they ultimately fall flat. I think that with FO4, Bethesda will basically say, "No, no, no. THIS is how you do it."

I've spent countless hours in FO3, and I think that this enormous new mechanic will just add countless more.

I agree with most people on this thread, crafting looks particularly interesting. Looking at the trailer they had for the crafting the fact that you could effectively turn a small pistol into a fully fledged killing one-shot machine is really cool and I'm looking forward to seeing what people can do with it.

I'm really into the weapon customization aspects though building my own house is really cool to. I want to be able to create an impressive fortress in the Wasteland and have an armory crammed with all kinds of weapons with one section dedicated to explosives. Because reasons.

It really did seem like the options were limitless. I think someone said that they saw something like a laser sniper rifle? So cool. I personally found that FO3's weapon selection was a little lacking. Realistically, in a post-apocalyptic world, people will fashion their own crazy weapons out of spare parts. I'm glad they're incorporating that into FO4.

Also, all of those miscellaneous scrap metals and clip boards and toys and crap that littered the entire wasteland aren't useless anymore!

Weapon customization is the only correct answer. Who gives a poop about a dog? ;)

Is there any chance that we can make the dog sit somewhere in the game world and then leave it for the rest of the playthrough? :p
