New Season

    It's a new season and with a new season comes the pain of climbing the ladder again :) Last year I tried hitting Gold and I started from Bronze V. I managed to get to Silver 2, but due to the fact that I didn't play very much I didn't get to reach my goal. This year I really want to hit that Gold milestone. What champions/roles do you guys recommend to climb the ladder faster and more efficiently?

    I focus on my main champ if I want to climb. I could play Tryndamere all the way back to platinum. If you're focusing solely on climbing solo Q its best to stick with 1-2 main champions and play nothing but those. There are certain champions designed to stomp solo Q but only if you know how to play, such as Riven, Annie, Renekton. Which are all champions capable of stomping a lane and most times enemy teams when you're skilled. What lane do you currently play?

    Play Karma/Orianna mid and win the game, simple as that. Orianna is harder to master but Karma is a beast, with a really simple skillset that will make your opponents tremble in fear. Not to mention the utility she brings to the table.

    Renekton or Garen top are good picks. Any sort of tank will help you climb harder in my opinion. Or maybe a Swain mid, anyone with lots of sustain damage. Avoid Nasus mainly because he is countered easily until late game stacks kick in, assuming you make it to late game.

    Find one champ that works for you and spam it till you reach the rank you want. Overtime you will become a god at that champ and you will be known as what they called a 1 trick pony like Annie Bot.

    I don't find climbing the ladder a problem, because I don't actually play ranked. I'm too lazy to stress up with ranked games and I definitely haven't got the time to do so. College takes up a lot of free time and studying for exams can become pretty harsh. I'm spamming AD Carry whenever I head into ranked games, but that only happens when I get the notifier saying that I only have 2-3 more days before being demoted.
