What game would you want remade next in the Pokemon series. I love generation 2, but I think maybe HGSS were too recent to be remade. Maybe its time for gen 4 to make the jump into 3D with Diamond Pearl and Platinum.
Yeah, I'm guessing it's 4th gen's turn to be remade. It's funny how fast the time passed, it feels like just yesterday they were released! Anyways, I think that they will take some time until they will release the remakes, because it's still too early. Perhaps they'll release them for the 10th anniversary?
I agree. I'm guessing we will get Pokemon Z or something like that first. It is also possible that they would remake Gen 1 again because it has been since the GBA that it was remade.
It's too early to remake any of the later generation. Even when Fire Red and Leaf Green came out, that was after Ruby, Saphire, and Emerald. Since Crystal didn't get a remake then I'm not expecting Emerald to get a remake.
Well, judging from the order things have been going in so far, I agree that gen 4 seems most likely. I really would have liked for Emerald to get a remake because I preferred that one over the original Ruby & Sapphire games, which probably contributed to by I didn't enjoy the remakes much, but yeah, that seems unlikely. I feel like its too soon for them to be remaking gen 4, though. I guess 2006/2007 is quite a ways away at this point, but they feel a lot closer to present day then the other remakes did. If they do remake them, I don't expect it to come out anytime soon.
I'm sure Diamond/Pearl will be next as far as remakes go. (I do think we'll get something original/new first though before another set of remakes.) But I would love to see the first two generations updated again with all the new advancements. Maybe one day!
