Thank... God. It was a nice thought in GW1, but with an infinite number of skill choices, just seemed like a nightmare. It was a pain having your favorite skill nerfed, just because it combo'ed well with another. Not only that, but it made PvP a nightmare too. It was either conform, to whatever flavor of the month skill combo was, or die.

Now, Anet can have a much easier time balancing skills, plus giving pvp some order. If you're fighting a warrior, a necro, or a ranger... you know what you're fighting. No more guessing games, with crazy skill combonations. Theres some comfort in that.

Yeah...to be honest, I prefer the fact they're focusing on just one class. In Guild Wars 1, my first character was a Warrior/Ranger, being a ranger as a secondary class purely because I wanted a pet. So what did I get? A pet flamingo. :p

I can't even having to keep track of an elementalist with dual "talents". With being able to swap weapons, NCSoft has basically built in at least one more class depending on the profession you choose.

I miss but it a little but you gotta face it.. Its for the greater good, like xerran said due to them allowing dual classes literally everything just got nerfed to poop.

I also think it would be kind of a bad idea, it can be very hetic trying to get a good build, but can also create alot of variety and dynamic characters

i think your weapon switching your Dual class. sure its not like GW1 where you have access to 2 classes spells, but there tons of possibilities with switching alone not to mention elementalist can switch to schools at anytime which you couldn't do in GW1

it's in there, it's just hidden. Races seem to duplicate a afew key skills from classes (IE char and engineer skills). So it's a hidden treat, not as over powered and easier to manage.

I personally hate dual class systems.. I like to focus on one class.

I like it, that was one of the things that I didn't like about GW.

I liekd it in GW1 but I guess it's better for GW2 because of the balancing etc.

I'm fine with it, it has plenty of depth without that system.

I do like the idea, but I always play a focused character that works well with other classes so I am glad there is no multi-classing
