    Wasup Metro Peeps,

    So I am currently doing a play through of Metro Last Light without killing any humans for the achievement. I am also recording commentary over my gameplay and posting it on my new youtube channel (same name as my username here). Feel free to check it out and leave me some words of encouragement. Also anyone who is working toward or already has accomplished this feet leave some tips below for those of use who are behind.

    I must warn you, the level Bandits has one enemy that can not be knocked out. Also another part of the challenge is to complete the certain mutant level without being detected or killing any mutants. This is the level...

    Where you are on the bridge and it is pouring down with rain.

    What are you talking about?

    You CAN knock that guy out.. you just have to be at the right angle.

    And the achievement for making it across the bridge without killing mutants is not a part of the Shadow Ranger achievement... you can kill all the mutants you want and still get Shadow Ranger.. you only have to spare humans.

    I knocked everybody out. And killed some people... but... they were all bad. And sorry but I couldn't... I had to kill those bastards who took the children. Especially the two that tried to rape the young woman...
    I got right behind him, and cut open his throat, left him there to bleed out. The other guy, stabbed him in the hart, and then shot him in the head, just to be sure.
    And got the good ending too.

    I killed those who seemed to deserve it, as for those who seemed to be... "good" guys, I just knocked them out.

    Guys OP is talking about the Shadow Ranger achievement... not the good ending.

    Tip: You don't have to kill any human opponents in the entire game, except for the enemy wielding a flamethrower (you'll know who I'm talking about when you see him). Even The Chase and Red Square can be completed without killing anyone. All human kills (except for that flamethrower guy) are optional. I know this since I got the achievement. Brynje can also confirm this because he has it as well.

    I killed every enemy solider/bandit (not key characters like Pavel or Lesnitsky) using only knife. Didn't waste ANY bullet on people, except the Red Square and the last misson, where you have no choice.

    Next time I want to try to complete the game without killing anyone.

    It's too easy to get through the game just by punching or stabbing people. Only played it on normal, but even when everyone was shooting at me, I could still punch them in the mouth.

    Played it on normal. >.>
