Patch 4.1 and ladder soft reset announced

    So Riot finally announced(well not an exact date) that within the next few days the new patch and the soft reset of the ladder will finally happen.

    The most major changes that I saw are that Riven is getting a major nerf as well as Spirit Visage(gives 10% reduced CD down from 20%) and Sunfire Cape(gives 25 aoe dmg down from 40) and jungle items are weaker in low level and stronger in high levels now.

    So what are your thoughts? I'm really happy that this is finally happening. I've been waiting for quite a while :D

    It seems like they will be adding a Teambuilder, which will generally help you practice your role

    I was waiting for the ranked reset, and it's finally coming!
    I'm super hyper now, I'll try to make great pre-ranked games to see where I'm going to be! Wish me luck!

    Sadly it's just a soft reset meaning they won't delete all your ranked games or at least that's what they said before. As far as I know they will slightly readjust the current ranking like for example if you are Gold 1 you might get demoted to Gold 5 etc... of course you might remain the same rank as well. I have no idea if you can get higher rank than before though :p

    Those Riven nerfs. :( I know she needs to be brought down a bit to provide a little more counterplay, but I think they are a little over-the-top. Mostly the nerf to her shield duration. Personally, I think her damage needs to be toned down a bit, but what survivability she has should be left alone. I would be really interested to see a tanky brawler Riven become more viable.

    To be honest to me this doesn't even seem like a nerf. They are basically raising the skill requirement to play the champ a little, but overall her survivability remains the same(strong). I'd actually would've prefered if they lowered maybe the dmg it absorbs and increased the CD of the skill over letting the shield stay for 1.5 seconds... In the middle of the fight when you are getting nuked if the shield stays for 0.5sec it's still enough.

    What?! That's not good at all, if this a new season all the previous stats should be deleted, so every player had a new chance. :/

    As a Riven main, I'm pretty sad about this but I'm glad about the ladder reset because now I can climb as an ADC main.

    Well it seems they have reset the ladder, but I can still see my previous stats, so I'm wondering what they are going to do. From the looks of it, it seems that it might be a full reset (fingers crossed), but at the moment ranked games are not available. I guess tomorrow/tonight(depending on what time zone you are in)we should be able to start climbing the ranks again :p

    Well boys and girls it's official. The reset is a fact and it wasn't a soft reset like they had talked about before, but an actual full reset :D

    This was a pretty long time ago! The ladder is usually resetting after the pre-season. I think that they'll be continuing this system for the rest of the upcoming seasons, but I'm not too sure about that. Just a thought.
