It's pretty fucking expensive.

If you don't plan on using it for anything other than calls/messaging/showing off your disposable income, I suggest getting a cheaper phone.

Personally I've been using my Nokia 3310 since 2003, but because these are not readily available I can propose a Samsung e1080. Durable, small, battery holds for a week or longer, good screen, decent sound quality.

 

I believe today's population is averagely more modern than that, Komodo, but still a good suggestion
The few times I've got a new cellphone, I haven't thought about much else than calling and texting, really. But there are phones with better keyboards than others, and then I find out I want a good camera to take decent-quality pictures with. I also use Spotify and Snapchat a lot, so I also need a cellphone that can continuously have a decent ammount of RAM available (Which was a problem on my old Samsung Galaxy).

Not so long ago, I got the Sony Xperia Z. There's the Z1 and Z2, but they are almost as new as the Z, only wayyyyy more expensive. The Z has a pretty good camera and a very large screen with good colors and it's very flat, and has a good ammount of RAM. It's very squared, not having rounded corners, but that can easily be alright if you put on a cover. Another good thing is that it's partially waterproof / very water-resistant. And last but not least, it's very cheap compared to how good and new it is.

 

Motorola Moto G... one of the cheapest smartphones available, I think. I'm using it and it's good. Though in all honesty, I find myself using its "smart" features less and less (I never really used all of them). I miss the days of using a small screen with actual buttons, for the sole reason of not having to download loads of useless updates for crap I will never use. Being "interconnected" when it comes to mobile technology and video games has proven to be more of a nuisance than anything else.

I don't have a phone, but I was thinking of getting one. Anyway, I stumbled upon some mentions of the Nokia 3310 and soon found out about its nostalgic powa! Komodo, you hold the most indestructible phone in the universe O-O

I saw a video where they dropped the nokia from 900 feet (about 274 meters) in the air via a drone. It kind of broke apart and the screen was internally leaking some fluid, but it was still able to receive calls. Incredible! Thought I should share some humorous photos of the 3310 meme:

Yeah, it's pretty solid. All these jokes and memes are an exaggeration though. Yeah, it probably won't break or shatter the screen if you accidentally drop it, but you shouldn't do it on purpose.
