This might be a weird idea... but I thought it would be fun to post pictures from the metro or subway in your city.

So here is mine from the Copenhagen Metro in Denmark :)

No metro in Winnipeg that I know of. But I've been to the Stockholm metro and thought it was quite nice.

There is a metro in the current place I'm living at in England, but most of it isn't underground (I know right, why the heck do they call it a metro then). Anyway, but since I am from Poland (namely the capital: Warszawa; or Warsaw in English) - I find that city's metro system much more nostalgic... and it's a lot nicer since it's newer, even if it is smaller. But all of it runs underground, so it is a proper metro. So I'll post the images of the metro stations in Warsaw, Poland. Some of these are actually designed to serve as nuclear shelters - just like in Moscow or Sankt Peteresburg - but not all of them, since my country's government is nowhere near as rich as Russia's.

Sort of Metro 2033 related fact: the Warsaw metro has been using old Soviet-make trains, practically identical to those used in the Moscow metro - only painted differently. However, we're getting more and more new trains from French and German companies, as well as some modern ones made in Poland.

Btw, sorry for making two posts about this; the forum would not let me post more than 20 images in one comment, and there are 21 stations in the Warsaw metro. :p There is a second line (containing 7 new stations) currently being built and 22 stations already planned to be built in the future. Can't wait to see what they will look like. :)
