Well I have not started playing minecraft and I see that there is a PC version and an Android version. I want to know if any of you play on PC or android? I am sure some may play on both, but I am sure that the PC version is better, so I am going towards the PC version, but I just wanted to know because I was curious. :)

I've played both. They're both great games but I'd start with the PC version. The controls are much easier on PC and the community is much larger :)

There are also a lot more in game items and features in the PC version, because the mobile version is much more recent so a lot of things haven't been implemented.

Thank you very much. I will do that. I am going to start with the PC version and go from there, because I want to play where there is a larger community haha.

I play mainly on the PC version because the controls are much much easier and there are a lot more items. You will definitely have a lot more fun on the PC compared to the android version. Don't strain your eyes on the mobile screen!

The PC version is far more in-depth. There is also an Xbox version of the game if you are interested in that.

The Android version is good on its own, but it doesn't provide nearly the same experience as playing on the PC. You might as well choose the PC or next gen consoles (when Minecraft arrives) for playing the game. You'll have more items, larger playing spaces, and better features. The Android version is a great time waster, but serious players prefer the PC or consoles, as far as I'm concerned.

I play on my iPhone (I imagine it's not too different from the Android version, if at all) and I gotta say, it's very addicting. The controls are a bit of a challenge to get used to, but once you do, it's remarkably easier than playing on pretty much any other platform. It's a bit limited, which is a drag, but gives you a Minecraft fix if you're in the car, or at work/school, or whatever.

I play it on PC. I like to use a mods and I have many mods installed around 50-60 mods. Since on phone you can't installed mods and without mods it will bore me.

PC any day. Playing Minecraft on mobile just doesn't provide the same experience. I find the controls weird. My brother is so used to it but me, I can't have the patience to build anything when playing on mobile.

I have tried playing Minecraft on android but it really isn't the same experience as PC, the movement isn't and can't be as fluid as with mouse and keyboard, you can't really place blocks with the same accuracy, and when you play minecraft you're usually in a relaxed setting like your own home or something and thinking about what you want to build while relaxing with friends, sure it may be a method of killing some time when you're out in public bored somewhere on the bus or something but its just not the same experience whatsoever.

I've only played it on the PC.
I recently got an Android and have been thinking about getting Minecraft, I'm just not too sure if it won't suck up all my battery.

Im pretty sure that most of the people find MC much better on PC. The movement is much more fluent and in my opinion minecraft should be played on PC.

Far as I know, Minecraft mobile is horrid. Anybody that wants a decent (but still inferior compared to PC) portable Minecraft should just wait out for the Vita version.

I have both versions, but play the PC more than the mobile. The mobile can play with friends, but the PC support for servers is much easier than the mobile's multiplayer. I enjoy the portability of Minecraft, but the PC always wins.

Yea, I agree that the portability of the mobile can be nice, but I still highly prefer PC.

This is not a question. PC will ALWAYs win over the pocket version. Don't go mobile except if you are just starting out. The PC version is way better. I understand this is an old post but for anyone else wondering the same, just don't. The phone version is for Minecraft addicts that need a fix when they are away from their PC. l It's not fun and the features are limited as to what you can do. Most of the crafting options aren't even there. Please don't even buy it so you can try and see whether you want to buy the full version. Just go out and get the full game. It's so much better and way more fun to play. Especially by this point. They have rolled out so many more updates. This goes the same with Xbox vs PC as well. PC for life.

In my opinion and experience, I find that every single game that is available for the PC, that is also available for consoles and hand held devices are best played on the PC for a number of reasons. First, the PC version has customization and modding capabilities beyond that of the other versions. Second, the PC version has far greater focus when it comes to updates. Lastly, it's a lot easier to stay connected with a community when you can multitask between playing a game and surfing the internet website at the same time.

PC is the best place to play Minecraft. It is easier to move around and you can play online with anyone in the world if you want too.
