I seem to recall an article before that mentions ESO as having the social feature of allowing player marriages. It seems that the mechanics of this similar to that of Skyrim's but is adopted for real players. Now, I'm not particularly fond of this option because social role-playing is not really my greatest strength, but I believe some people would really love this option.

That being said, for players who are fond of this game feature, why would you find it interesting?

Well, it's optional. So its not like you will be forced to tie knot with someone in the game lol. If you happy living single, you can. Devs are not going to force you to marry.

Seems kind of strange to get married in an mmo and kind of creepy at the same time I never even considered even getting my character married in Skyrim.

Yeah I would agree with the whole "getting married in an mmo is weird" statement. I don't dislike the idea, because if I had a girlfriend or wife, I would probably do it, but getting married to a random person or one of your friends, kind of weirds me out. I could be wrong though, I could end up liking it at some point.

I like it, it adds a bit of realism I suppose. I just think it's fun to have that ability in some games. I will welcome it for sure. If you don't like it, just don't marry anyone, it's as simple as that. And I'm sure more people choose to marry with a person they're really in love with, or someone they met online that they're falling in love with.

I like the idea so I hope they keep it.

If they add in a marriage I think they should add in a divorce system it would suck to be stuck with one character for as long as you play that character.

I think it's a nice little system. Not really anything that really adds much to the game but a nice little touch nonetheless. Now for y'all who are saying that it's creepy. Think about it this way. It can be used by people who are already dating. Lots of people play with their partners and this could be a fun little couple's activity. It probably wasn't put in with creepy people in mind.

I think its a good idea, as long as it doesn't have a huge effect on actual gameplay. I do wonder in a male-female marriage just how many of the "females" are actually going to be girls and not guys pretending haha!

Its an interesting feature. A lot of people play games online and make friends, others even find life partners. I recently saw a video of a couple that met on Second Life and eventually got married in real life and I'm sure there are other similar cases too

I guess it depends on what kind of gamer you are, but if your looking for real love I wouldn't go about it though a video game it seems kind of strange to me, but who am I to judge.
