Playing Minecraft with rude players

I just don't play with this kind of people, I just tell them the reason straight.
Or I just prepare a little trap for then while they are offline, hehe

 

Put a jukebox inside a wall and play the broken disk. watch them go ape

 

Oh, god, I know exactly what you mean.
At first I thought this was going to be about the players that come online and kill you for no good reason, but This is almost worse. It's the freaking control freaks.

I have had this issue before, BUT I've found that someone making a house out of a certain wood is One kind of problem (If someone complains about the Type of wood, I just let them do it themselves). It's when we talk to the group about what materials we can use (for example, try not to build a house of gold and silver blocks because it's an eyesore) and then someone goes against it.
Once, We were trying to have a regular session, no creative mode, you find it and then you can build with it. This one guy spawned in a bunch of obsidian and made a HUGE tower in the middle of the map. It was dreadful looking. To make it worse, it served no purpose but to kill people, as it was filled with lava. And because we had just started the game, the only way to get rid of it was to go into creative mode. Ugh.

 

I did decide this one time to play with a friend of a friend. We had spoken a couple times before, so we weren't awkward towards each other. However, we really couldn't do anything because all he wanted to do was kill me or find a way to kill me differently; hitting off a high place, drowning, etc. He'd also kill me for my loot.

 

No I refuse to play with people like that. They literally suck the fun out of the world. No bueno on rude players.

 

YES!!! Once I saw him being that annoying, I just got my hidden TNT and dug a hole under his house. He was like "where are you" when he heard the sizzle of the TNT. When I got out of my home (we made some sort of Island Resort, I don't know why). I'd set all his wood on fire too.
He raged out of his mind that time. It wasn't a close friend, so I don't really care. I never spoke to him ever since.

 

Well, I can't stand people like that, so I generally try to take matters into my own hands then and there. I make the best weapons and Armor, and I generally try to be the most obnoxious brat that they've ever played with.

 

Players like that are terrible and make me want to punch them through the computer. My friends don't do that so I haven't experienced it in Minecraft but there are some annoying people out there lol.

 

Whenever I see a rude and obviously unintelligent player, I make sure I troll them as much as possible and kill them on sight. Simple as that. Don't even try to talk sense into them.

 

Playing with people like that is no fun! Minecraft is all about building and being creative! I hate when people are rude in person, so of course I hate when people grief or do similar things on public servers.

 

Totally ruins the game. Bummer it's a good friend of yours. I would suggest just playing another game together. Maybe he just has some kind of weird control thing when it comes to Minecraft. Good luck!

 

Someone I knew awhile ago was a complete control freak like you stated and wanted our house to be perfect in his " mind ". Since It was a multiplayer server I built it and waited for the perfect moment a week later to blow it up and accuse a random player that he did it and not me. the amount of chaos that pursued was unbelievable and hilarious.

 

I used to play with a rager, everything I did he started shouting at me and I got really annoyed at him.

Later that day I made TNT, put them all over his buildings and blew them up.

Crying ensued.

 

Just kick them out from the lobby. I just do that everytime I play on Xbox and there's a little kid flaming or raging for no reasons

 

Haha, no I haven't had that problem. When me and my friend play Minecraft we usually just divide the base between us and build whatever we want. If you don't like playing with your friend though you could always try an online server, people on their can be friendly(sometimes).

 

Yeah while playing with a group of friends, I was trying to set up the place where I would live. I found a small island thinking it would be nice and peaceful as I like to move a bit away from others. Well he decides to find me and set up one of his cannon creations in the middle of the ocean. I didn't know this as I wasn't paying attention at the time of building. All I hear is a loud boom, and then I suddenly see that my island was being hit by TnT. He shot at least five plus shots, by the end of his stupidity the island was flooding with water. I had to ask him nicely to stop being a tool.

 

I avoid people like this, NO ONE should prevent me from building whatever I want whenever I want, I don't play with dictators. Building something involves being creative and exploring many possibilities, it's not fun if you have limited resources just because someone tells you.

 

As many have already mentioned, I simply don't play with rude people. Also as far as multiplayer servers goes, I am very picky. I've been through three servers and settled on a fourth one. The previous three: one had a lot of griefers and the admin didn't do much to enforce the rules, one was full of people flaming each other in chat daily and the other had some policies I strongly did not approve of. The fourth and final server which I still log into are administrated by two married adults. For the most part, the server is the best I've seen and experienced. The punishments are a bit weird, but overall fine because all of the rules are 'common sense'.

Anyway, so what I was trying to get at here is on MP servers, if someone is rude, the moderators usually deal with them or if not, then I put them on /ignore. If worst comes to worst, then I put in a /modreq and report the player(s) for violations.

 

I totally feel you mate , I have been with or noticed such rude players not once but many tumes before although none of the friends I know in the real world have such behaviour in minecraft. There was one time when I joined a public minecraft server and I asked a pretty noob question about the server, as I was new to the concept of bucket plugins and smp then, only to be greeted with tons of mocking and derogatory remarks that does not answer my question at all, and serve only one purpose: to loudly proclaim the fact that I'm a noob.
Another time, I was playing with a friend I met on the same server and we got along just fine for the first few hours, gathering resources and building stuff, but when I finally got about half a stack of diamonds and built a nice farm and house, he drew out his sword and hit me continuously until I died, as I did not have any weapons with me at that moment. When I requested for my diamonds at least, all he did was insult me and throw a whole tirade of profanities at me.
