Any pocket edition players on this forum? I like it because I can bring my tablet anywhere and play when I feel for. For me, it's almost as good as on the PC.

Yeah I tried it on my Android but I find it hard to play on a small screen. It just doesn't feel good enough for me control wise. But the game was good actually I really like it except for the touch screen controls.

Yes I feel the same. The only thing that could be better is the controls but I guess there is no way to change that. After a while playing though I don't think so much about it. It's harder to fight enemys for sure.

I believe that its just more immersive to play minecraft on the PC, because you are probably home, relaxed, you can be creative and artistic and you just have the advantage of more versatile movement with keyboard and mouse, maybe I am biased because I am a pc guy and always played on PC but thats just how I feel about it.

Sometimes I play it on my nexus 5 if i'm really bored. It's not the greatest one because of the limitations in place. But definitely still a fun game to play occasionally . It would be much better with some more updates to it.

I gave it a shot but I gave up on it pretty quickly. I played it early on and was disappointed by the leack of features. I'm fine with PC so I don't feel the need to play on my phone. I have no idea if it's still as limited but I'm sure the graphics are still worse than the other versions. For that matter I stay away from the console version too. I hated the controls. the phone version is definitely not for me.

I always wanted to get it on my iPhone, but it's kinda pricey. I also feel that it would DESTROY my battery so it's kinda impractical to play when I'm on the subway, in class, or at a friends, since I'll be without my phone. If I'm just gunna be able to only play it at home, why not just play it on my laptop?

My brother ended up buying it on our joint account awhile back, and while it's cool to have for some mobile gaming, I know I'll ditch it entirely once the Vita version releases. The mobile version isn't the full game and it's always annoying trying to do something and then remembering that mobile version doesn't have that feature.

I'm just not a huge fan of the Pocket Edition. It runs fine, but I see no reason to play Minecraft when I'm away from my computer or consoles. Adding in a mobile version just takes up too much time that I'd rather not waste.

Since the last two updates I've been playing pocket edition more and more, it really is getting much better for a mobile game

Yeah that's the worst. Even if the controls are fluent you'd still have a hard time playing it what with your thumb blocking half of the screen completely.

I tried it once on my android tablet and I didn't really like it at all, if I had a keyboard and mouse it would of been a little bit better but the reduced textures and draw distance don't make the pocket edition sound appealing to me at all.

PE isn't bad, but PC is so much better. Yes, PE has quite a few more features and updates that have been put in place and are still coming, but personally it's not the same.

However, I do play PE if I'm out and I have my TABLET (never a small screen) and I'm really bored.

Believe it or not but I am one of the few I guess who play the pocket edition on a iPad mini. :)

I usually play the Pocket Edition with my friends with local multiplayer. It is fun and a good time killer, however I would not spend as much time on it as I would on the PC version. One of the elements lacking in Pocket Edition is Online Multiplayer, it isn't available yet. Some other features just aren't there. Pocket Edition can be fun to play as a time killer, but I cannot find myself spending too much time on it. On Android, my friend has this app that allows you to download maps. Many of the maps were created on PC, however sometimes, some features won't work as some things aren't on PE (i.e. Pressure plates).

Minecraft Pocket Edition really stepped up their game in the last one or two years! They've added a lot of new features, new blocks, infinite maps (which I enjoy the most) etc. and they are still working on improving it!
What brings this game down is the controls which are a little bit hard to get used to at first. It's not that big of a problem because once you get used to them it becomes pretty easy to play.
In my opinion it's worth it to play on your phone/tablet if you don't have a pc nearby. The PE version has most of the features and in the upcoming version they will add enchants and some more things! I'm excited for that!

Its fun and not so bad like many want to make it out to be. Their latest update really made it good.

Recently they've really made the PE as close as possible to the actual PC version. I like it because I can have Minecraft anywhere. It runs nice, nothing to complain about. No lag that I have encountered, even on high quality graphics.

I tried to play Minecraft on my phone but I prefer to play it on PC or on Vita. But there will be lack of things like mods or something.
