So this was just announced today... a Pokemon mobile game! Amazing trailer: I am so ridiculously excited for this! Guess I'll have to stop being a hermit.
For real! I'm quite excited. And it seems like fans of ALL ages are getting pumped about this -- I've seen quite a lot of chatter on Facebook, even from some fans who have kind of drifted from the Pokemon fandom. So I'm looking forward to seeing more about how this is going to work!
I wouldn't mind playing this, though I would be worried about burning out my phone battery trying to see if I can get a shiny or not. Not to mention I would have to explain to my coworkers why I'm ignoring them during lunch break to play on my phone...
I didn't consider the phone battery bit, but that's a good point! Especially because it's going to have the additional bluetooth wristband. That will probably suck up quite a bit of battery life in itself. (Though I read it can be played without the wristband, too.)
I'm going to have to get this A.S.A.P. Hopefully it plays as well as the Gameboy versions. How many hours of play do you think it has?
Well, I'm not sure this will have an actual storyline, so I'm not quite sure on that. I guess completion for this would be finding all of the available pokemon, and who knows how long that could take! Especially if some are exclusive to certain parts of the world.
Nice to hear! Playing with emulators has been pretty painful, glad to see we finally have an official app for mobile. Can't wait to try it out!
