Has anyone tried this out? It seems to be an online version of the TCG, and the cards are cheaper, so I feel like it has a significant advantage over the normal TCG. Opinions?

I don't know, I love Pokemon games, and love the anime but I just couldn't get into the card game, I utterly hate it, maybe its because its so complicated to learn

I never got into the card games either. I know they try to capture the feeling of Pokemon but doesn't work for me. I just see them as card games and nothing more. Too many variations and confusing at times.

I never tried Pokemon card game online, but I have played Magic the gathering card game online it was OK so I would assume Pokemon card game would have a similar experience.

Not the physical card game, but I loved the GBC game of TCG! I wouldn't be in a hurry to restart it, but it was great at the time. Wasn't there a later version of this one?

But with the physical game, I still have some cards somewhere...

Took a peek at it and it doesn't really seem to have a chance at competing with the much more popular Hearthstone as an online card game. Rules were a little sketchy of how to play too. Unless you're a hard-core fan of the game and lore, you're probably going to choose HS as your card game of choice.

Yeah, I've it a few times with a friend of mine. It works awfully well. Well ofcouse it's not going to compete against hearthstone.. its not trying to.

I used to play the Pokemon card game but eventually stopped as I grew up. The online game kind of sucks since you don't get to collect ACTUAL cards and is only virtual.
