If you're anything like me, you'll probably be dying a lot in Skyrim. So, you're probably using up all of your health potions, eating all of your food and realizing it doesn't always work out. I decided to search up the recipe list for every potion imaginable and here I am to share the glory of it all. I will now be brewing nothing but health potion. Anyways here's the wiki for it all, enjoy: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Useful_Potions
Great list and needed for any player. I've come across many fights where I wasn't able to defeat an enemy because he/she was heavily armored, too strong, or just too powerful in magicka. Seriously, having a ton of health potion helps along with poisons and aother potions that help make the battle that much more easier.
A good general tip, by the way, is to ALWAYS collect Giant's Toes. They beef up the effect, not to mention the value of most of the potions you create.
That's very useful, but I prefer to fail and find out for myself that way I can remember what makes what.
This is a great list, but I just invest some serious time in enchanting and black smith and created a an armour set that enhances both my health and regeneration rate. Its a little better than haveing to find a buy ingredients for potions all the time
What I did, I scourged the world for ingredients and didn't use any. Then I just ate everything I had. It gave me a lot of the uses of specific ingredients.
The 1st ever combo I remembered was Deathbell and Salt Pile which makes a slow potion great way to make money at the beginning stage of the game.
I thought I was the only one!! I like buying recipes I find at the merchants, eating ingredients to reveal the 1st effect, experimenting with brewing various things. Looking on the list just feels a bit like cheating.
