    When starting up your new Minecraft world, what is the first animal you look to breed? for me it has to be cows. The leather + meat combination is great thing to have a supply of.. As well as a source of milk for wearing off potions.

    Also one more thing is making cake! I mean who doesn't want to make cake in Minecraft?!

    For me, it's definitely cows. As you said, I like the beef and leather benefit instead of just getting meat from a pig. I like to have a lot of item frames in my storage systems so thats a plus. I really like breeding sheep too because I sometimes like to work with colored wool.

    Cows are really important to breed, of course, but I enjoy breeding sheep more, because I just love their wool and I love making wool blocks. I know it's pretty weird, but I find it really cool to create outposts out of nothing but wool.

    I would have to agree, cows are by far the best animal to breed as they are the most profitable. Leather is incredibly useful so having an abundance is necessary especially when playing with mod packs which I often do. Sheep would come next because I like making things out of wool (Carpet, pixel art etc.).
