Preorder confusion, please help!

    Hey guys I am confused about a couple things concerning preordering Metro Last Light. Firstly are we going to be able to preorder on Steam? If we do will we still get the limited edition content? Secondly, if I pre-order the digital edition from amazon will i get the limited edition content? It doesn't mention it on their store page. Also it doesn't mention if its a steam key or not from amazon. Can anybody please clear this up for me? Thanks

    A good idea would be to ask someone from THQ about this. They can be reached quite easily on a number of social networking sites and even through this forum. ;)

    Well it might be the same thing that COD did with BO2. They said if you pre order it you get nuke town but if you buy a new copy you get it anyway.

    You should be able to pre-order on Steam, but I have no idea if you'd get the bonus as well - though you probably would. I don't see why they would keep the pre-order limited edition rule exclusive to any retailers.

    Most pre-order offers now are exclusive to some retailers. It seems that we have to choose between which item we want.

    Please dont shoot me with a bazooka but ill be buying the PS3 version and i was wondering what "ranger mode" is?

    Ranger mode is nothing more than a difficulty setting, it's the highest difficulty where you play HUD'less. Deep Silver are mad to follow THQ's incompetency and keep it segregated as Limited Edition Content.

    There should be no reason to do it. Removing difficulty settings is absurd just read all the comments in this forum when it was announced or on gaming sites like IGN, Kotaku, CVG, Eurogamer, Gamespot etc. They are all hate comments!

    Limited Edition should have things like steel book case, art work, digital sound tracks etc

    Collectors Editions should include all the above but include things like statues, gas mask, Non working bullet lighter, passes for forthcoming DLC etc

    All the other stuff like in game currency, early weapon unlocks should be pre-order bonuses which depending on your country and where you buy it from should be different.
