PVP

Have you ever watched the videos for the Arena PvP they originally had in the game, it was the arena where you verse Magda in Act 2 and you could play 2v2 and pick up health globes. It looked amazing and it was suppose to be released with the game. I also wish they made it an MMO like it was suppose to. But yea PvP might be enough to bring me back to playing D3 for a week.

 

The lack of real PvP was one of the reasons that made me lose interest in the game. As Eltharion has said, the Arena was supposed to be a part of the game when it was released. Blizzard later announced that they would implement it with the first major patch of the game, but that never happened. That was a really bad move, and Blizzard never showed this behaviour.
I still hope that when it gets implemented, it will be epic enough to bring people back to the game, but I highly doubt it.

 

PvP should have been implemented Diablo 2 style with more of that open world chaos going on. I have a feeling the new PvP system will be like a WoW arena grind fest.

 

Well, the D2 system had its flaws, it was far too easy to gank whoever you wanted and that took away much of the fun for the ganked players, PVP should be optional for both players.

 

Ganking is not a big deal for PVM players. You just have to tp into town or switch servers if somebody is being difficult. You also cannot gank players that are in your party and you will receive a notification if a player is aggressive towards you.

 

Yes but I remember a few times where I was cruising long with a party, some high level would enter the match, declare hostility and then find us and kill us over and over again.
Switching wouldn't really be an option if you were deep into a quest, for example during Act II sometimes you would miss huge chunks of time if you started over.
This really killed the fun.
