On the subject of randomization and loot tables: I have to mention that I tried GW2 for a few months, and it did not mix well with my desires. The problem I had with it is that there was TOO much loot. Not enough vendor trash specific items, and that each and every mob, be it human, lizard, fish, or risen, dropped any certain weapon, or piece of armor, and dropped them very often. I felt there was no need to stay in one area, besides for world bosses in which you pew pew for a while with a fustercluck of other people, or the certain farming areas in which would yield high amounts of experience. I began to become very tired, exploring and completing over 50% of the world in just 100 hours. There was no mystery, little else to do besides mapped objectives that I liken to getting candy from houses on Halloween.
