Ranger Mode & Pre-Order Questions?

    I have some questions about the M:LL Ranger Mode Pre-Order that i was unable to find an answer too.

    1. IF you buy the Ranger Mode DLC after the game has released, do you still start Ranger Mode with the AKS-74u and the 100 MGR?

    2. If you do not pre-order, will the AKS-74u and RPK be avaible for purchase from vendors or be acquired later in the game when playing Ranger Mode.


    If i think of any other questions, i'll post them. Thanks!

    Not sure about the first one, but no to the second, the aks/rpk and 100 MGR are only in ranger mode and will not be present in the game if you play on other difficulties.

    I may have worded the second question wrong but what i meant was that if you do not pre-order, and play Ranger Mode, can you still purchase the aks/rpk from vendors or acquire them later on in the game while playing Ranger Mode.

    you still get them if you buy the rangar mode.

    RPK is technically an exclusive preorder item from the Gamestop and is activated by a separate code.

    AKS-74U and 100 MGRs are a part of the ranger mode and AKS can only be found in that mode.

    Komodo, is there anyway for you to clarify whether the RPK is also only available in Ranger Mode, or if it's just in the game, period, if you get the code for it?

    Tested just now and I can confirm you can use the RPK in Original Mode if you have the code for it. It works like a slightly more powerful Kalash. Good for a run & gun playthough, especially when picking off humans with headshots, but it doesn't allow you to put a silencer on it.

    Thank you very much for this, been wondering a long time :) not worried about the silencer part, was planing on using it or the Kalash with a reflex sight and no suppressor anyway, throwing knives and a silenced revolver are my preferred silent killers :)
