What do you guys think about Redstone Computers? Some of the more complicated ones are just absolutely amazing and blow my mind every time I see them.

Another thing about Redstone Computers, is that they could be used to teach the internals of computers, with their large scale. The microchip for many people is just a magic chip that works some how and most people don't know much about what goes on inside a microchip, and scaling it up in a interactive world such as Minecraft could be amazing for teaching what computers are at the microscopic level, and what makes them work.

What do you think about redstone computers?

Yeah, even notch said that they are the best thing he's every seen. That is some recognition, they are so majestic and complex!

Redstone computers are great. There's something to be said for a sandbox game that lets the user make something this advanced, while still being easy to play for someone that knows nothing about logic gates or anything even close to it.

I'm a fan of redstone computers, and I guess you could use them as an educational tool of sorts in many applications. I'm surprised someone hasn't done that already, in fact.

One of my friends made a working 24h numeric clock with redstone. It was very impressive. It took him months and a lot of complicated wiring. Actually, this reminds me of a Youtube video of some guy who made a computer hard drive in MC that could store 1kb of data. o_o

Redstone computers are quite amazing, and is something that I could never even hope to be capable of making.
