How good are you people with redstone? I'd say I'm pretty decent with redstone as I can make some really cool traps and door openings. My best circuit would be my hallway lighting where I can make a long hallway light up one by one and it looks really awesome. How about you?

I know the basic redstone mechanics and I can build the basic things, and also some more complicated ones. But I need to check the tutorials for T-flipflops and things like that. I've once built a lighting sistem with pistons that removed the glowstone and replaced it with a stone block, so the lighting would be completely hidden when not in use!

I'm okay with redstone. I can remember most of the logic gates, but I don't build much with redstone anymore, so sometimes I have to google them because mojang made an update so one logic gate needed to be redesigned. I don't make a lot of advanced or impressive things, but I know how to build piston doors and lights and whatever.

I'd say I'm above average with redstone. I have a bent for practical redstone circuitry. So I don't make huge redstone computers, but I do wire up self-harvesting farms, redstone-powered grinders at dungeons, and the like. I once dabbled with a system where you have a rail system with a central hub that kept track of where you were. Minecraft has come a long way since then, and I think I'd be able to do it now.

Mediocre skill for me. Nothing fancy, just simple circuits and stuff involving doors and lights, etc. I once built a bank vault with a number remembering system; that thing was extremely large and I had to use a tutorial. Redstone adds another dimension to Minecraft of which I enjoy very much.

I'm fairly skilled at using redstone, although I'm not an expert or anything. I think it's simple enough to understand the basics, but not everyone wants to figure out ways to make intricate builds involving redstone work.

I'm not good with redstone, because I never use it. I always look it tutorial if I want to build some redstone builds. My friend in a server know a lot about redstoning, so he does that stuff. I can't even make a gate.

I can do the more basic things but I am (as I write) checking out tutorials on youtube as well as having my game book close by.

What do you mean by the term game book? Do you have a redstone tutorial book that you bought? Like a real book with real covers and paper and stuff, not an e-book? Is it any good?

Yes that is correct. A redstone tutorial book with real covers, papers and stuff. Is that a shock? People don't know books anymore? Lol. Yes, if you like Minecraft and like valuable tips and tricks, check it out.

I know about books, I just wasn't aware of the fact that there is a book on redstone available to buy. I'm glad you find it useful! How in-depth is it?

I suck with redstone, I need to check out some tutorials on youtube or read a wiki on it. I always wanted to make songs with noteblocks and redstone but I could never get it down properly, always got distracted or something. I can barely make a working track system :l

You will get better, I'm sure of it! Noteblock songs are really hard to get just right, especially if you don't use a generator to make a template for the song. I never found noteblocks amusing, to be completely honest.

Not that great. I only got into it for a few things to be honest. I think the only thing I really use it for anymore would be the obsidian generator. I never got into all the technical things that you could do with it. I've seen some mods that let you do some pretty crazy things with redstone. I think the coolest was a duplicator that you put in redstone, diamond, and whatever you wanted to copy and it filled all of your inventory slots with the max amount of that item. That was a cool one that almost made me find the mod and try it out.

I don't always use Redstone but I use it when I'm building with the industrial craft mods. It's awesome.

I consider myself to be really good, but I'm nowhere close to the level of some of the people I see on Youtube.

I think that my redstone skills are pretty limited. I usually have to look up tutorials if I want to build anything fancy. But I can still manage for the most part. Redstone is actually a really fun part about Minecraft! It adds more uniqueness to the game.
