    Cheers. Just joined this forum since I'm looking for someone to roleplay metro 2033 with.
    I'm not at all interested in roleplaying OCs (original characters). I am, however, looking for someone to roleplay Artyom (or Pavel) in Paragraph style.
    And yes, it can turn out romantic, I don't mind at all. We can roleplay their time together or whatever.
    Anyway, as a roleplayer I don't take more than a few days to reply unless I have exams on college and my replies are usually long and detailed (you don't have to do the same though and I can adapt my replies to shorter ones!).
    I also made a rp blog today, major-pevel.tumblr.com just in case you need to ask me something in private or if you want to move the rp to somewhere more private just in case.

    Hoping for a reply soon from anyone interested!

    Why not? That's the fun of roleplaying, they can be anything.
    Also they don't need to be BI perse, they can just be really close and end up having a romantic relationship.

    I don't have anything against homosexuality at all, but the problem with playing a canon character is that I wonder what would happen if your actions diverge from what occurred in the game? That would alter the setting completely. Wouldn't you have more freedom rping an OC of any sexual orientation instead?

    I really don't want to be rule but that's the whole point of roleplaying? Why would I roleplay a canon character and go through everything that actually occurred in the game?
    I've roleplayed in different fandoms, but I guess the metro 2033 fandom is still small...
    Also, the whole reason why I wanted to roleplay Artyom/Pevel is because I feel there is a lack of story between them.
    Doesn't it make more sense that he'd stay with Pevel other than Anna? Their relationship (Pevel and Artyom) is so great and they're so good together.
    Sighs. I guess I'll have to resort to tumblr to find someone with a more open mind about this.

    yeah, until he betrays artyom. and it would have to be extremely well done to be believeable, for them to suddenly get together, not one minute to the next, 'ur a good guy' to 'can't keep my hands off you, let's find a quiet tunnel' type of thing.

    I see. I must have misread your post. I was more concerned if you were wanting to rp PAvel within the forum's rp with OCs. The OCs assume that the actions of Pavel and Artyom in published sources are canon. What I meant was that if you rp'ed blowing up the Reich's Fuhrer, for instance, it would completely change the setting for everyone else.

    But if you just want a one-on-one rp with someone else as Artyom that does not affect the other OCs, then I don't mind.

    He didn't really betray him. He didn't know what the superiors were planning to do with Artyom; he thought they were going to interrogate him and I trully believed he wanted Artyom to join him as comrade.

    Well if you anyone ever decides to write something for the weird Artyom/Pavel relationship, the song to get you in the mood for writing such peculiar RP material is " Take My Breath Away"- Berlin. I'm already getting shivers from thinking about it.

    He did betray Artyom, but I can understand him following orders. And I'm pretty sure he new that Artyom was going to be tortured, he only suggested that Artyom should join/help the red's to lessen his beating. I can, however, believe that by the time at red square he saw Artyom as a comrade.(he did save Pavel's life several times.) cause when you fight him the dark one states that he's sad to have to fight Artyom. However, Pavel believed his duty to the red line superseded any personal beliefs he had.

    Right :laugh:? Then they both lock eyes, and then one of them slowly begins to slide their hand across the table and graps the other by the hand. ( The song continues: Bom bom bom bom bom, Take my breath away...) It just too funny.:pound:

    What I like about this song is that it would actually be perfect to play on the background during the game in certain events, like at the strip club. I don't remember which song was playing there, probabbly some jazzy music but this one would fit perfectly?

    I'm sorry, Take my Breath Away at a strip club? That wouldn't seem just a little out of place to you?

    I mean, strip clubs are supposed to be seedy joints with music that would be appropriate for girls to get nekkid to. That song seems like it would be more fitting for a slow dance than a strip tease.

    From what I can recall, the music playing in the background at the strip club was not of anyway fast paced or strip club like; It was more soft tone. I think this song would go great in a post-apocalyptic strip club and/or at the point when Ana seduces Artyom for no reason. :shocked:
