What are the old RPGs that you want to see get remade or reboot? Personally, I think that Xenosaga deserves to come back because it was one of the best RPGs during the PS1 era.
I really enjoyed Metropolis Street Racer for the Dreamcast it the game focused on a "kudos" system that rewarded players for stylish driving.
Hold it right there... Metropolis Street Racer? Was this an RPG? Or was it a racing game? The OP is asking for RPGs that you think should make a comeback. Anyways, Square should remake Xenogears and Chrono Cross. These are two legends in the RPG genre and they're worth remaking in HD.
Haha, this made me laugh out loud. ^_^ My list is probably pretty extensive, but I would like all of the AD&D games from SSI like the Krynn and EotB series to be remade. I prefer remakes that focus on updating the visual and sound technologies, but keep the mechanics roughly the same with maybe some slight improvements. Too many game remakes add way too much and/or change too much that make it lose its magical old school touch.
