    This is great! That is if it turns out be real, but I think it's likely. THQ are obviously trying their best to sell Last Light already before its release. Obviously, as pretty much everyone here - I have Metro 2033 and played the hell out of it (around 60 hours). But I'd still love to send a free copy of the game to my brother, through Steam. That would be really awesome. :)

    Like someone said on the link, most people who want Last Light already own 2033. Pretty stupid idea if you ask me. If there's someone who wants Last Light but doesn't have 2033, they can pick the latter up basically anywhere for less than £20.

    Even cheaper on steam, I think my friend saw it for like £5.

    Which is exactly why they're using it for promotional purposes. They've got nothing to lose by including it with Last Light. Plus, as we've seen in the past, it caters to those who are new to the series.

    I see no point in giving it together with LL. They should give it for free before LL's release.This way the could increase the numbers of the community ( which i think is one of the smallest that are currently active) and of the audience for LL.

    This will probably slightly decrease the current ammount of buyers of Metro2033, which isn't good, as they're in a "financial crysis". But giving it away for free to those who purchase LL, will make THQ win that money back pluss more. "Buy LL now! Haven't played the prequel? Purchase LL now and get the prequel for free, so you can enjoy the whole storyline!". It's a good sales-trick, I must say :)

    THQ is doing everything to make Last Light a hit, otherwise their doomed, so I believe this could be true.

    Well I don't have a pc that can run metro 2033 let alone last light so it would be kinda useless. If you ask me I would rather have some kind of special weapon in game like metro 2033. Or a coupon for like 75% off a THQ game and wouldn't be just for PC. I find it unfair that they are giving PC players so much more than a console player. (I like pc gaming more but im just saving up for a gaming PC) Or we can get a code that gives you metro 2033 for free on the xbox live store or something.
