    Lately i bought all the games of the Shadow of Chernobyl series.
    I must say,they are really well-made and are masterpieces of the videogames history.

    The graphics are not bad,but you can see that are a bit outdated.
    I was wondering, do any of you know any mod that allows me to keep the original gameplay and at the same time improve the graphics? (VERY IMPORTANT: MUST WORK WITH THE STEAM VERSION).

    There is a big fanmade patch or mod which improves the graphics, removes bugs, etc.
    I thougt it was called complete, but I'm not sure. It also works great for me on steam.

    How do i exactly have to install it? Would you help me step by step? It's just that i had installed it, but the game crashed everytime i launched it.

    I have installed it half a year ago and it worked without trouble, so I don't really know how to help. Maybe this could be usefull:

    Over the past week I've been working to port the mutants from Metro into STALKER Call of Pripyat. (Nosalises and Demons are my first goals, then if they work I'll move to roaming librarian pairs or lurkers) It doesn't seem too hard... but we'll see.

    complete is ok for Shadow of Chernobyl (SoC), and not bad for Clear Sky (CS), but don't use it for Call of Prypiat (CoP), as it's extremly buggy. if you want graphic mods only head over here:

    and click on the community tab to get to the forums. however, my advice as a regular Stalker player (have played all of them with and without mods for over 10 times each) is play them unmoded first, and don't forget to install the latest patches for Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky.

    all the questions you might have, have been probably asked, and answered, in the GSC forum.

    If it works with Steam versions go for the Oblvion Lost 2.2 Mod for SOC, E.L.I.T.E Mod for SOC and also there are Stalker Complete official mods for each of the 3 games but call of pripyats version is bad plus clear sky goes away from what stalker is kinda SOC and COP are my favs for sure. Currentely playing COP for the 5th time..
