Scariest Minecraft moment?

I suppose the scariest moment for me was when I was holding diamonds and trying to cross this humongous lava bridge that I had discovered while mining in an underground cave. A friend of mine and I had spent hours preparing that cave and when we finally hit diamond we were ecstatic. However, that friend ended up falling into the lava and so did I, ruining all of our hard work. We'd lost all of the items that we had collected from mining and it was a terrible feeling. Luckily for us, we remembered that the last autosave had been a while back before then. (laughs)

 

I think that my scariest moment was when I was trying to build a bridge across some place in the End and was trying to avoid the Enderdraggon while at it. Unfortunately I died after all :/

 

When i started playing there was a cave outside my newbie house. And after a day i decided to explore it. And directly when i looked to the right, There was a zombie. I shat my pants and closed out minecraft for a few days

 

Wow, you really dodged a bullet there. If that was me I would probably just rage quit right then and there. I hate it when I put a lot of work into something only for it to mean absolutely nothing in the end.

 

My scariest moment was when I was in PVP on a server. I forgot I had diamonds on me and the arena was a huge obstacle. The guy was chasing me full force and I ended up dying and losing my diamonds.

 

The scariest moments are always when you first start playing, I think the first time I played, I actually managed to build a house and that house just so happened to be on top of a cave system, I could hear constant zombie grunting sounds and since I wasn't familiar with the game I had no idea what those were and I was genuinely frightened.

 

I think that the scariest moment in Minecraft is when you're all alone in the nether. Like, ALL ALONE by yourself and stuck on hard mode. It's fun, but it can be scary. It's even more scary when you attack a zombie pigman, and then a group of them chase after you. I mean, it's not that scary, but it can be scary, which does add to the fun part!

 

Well one time I was exploring a old mine shaft and it was going pretty good, there were not that many monster and I felt safe. Well I was walking down this hallway and right before I got to the end of it about ten cave spiders dropped down all at once in front of me. I almost peed my pants. Later to find out that there was like five spawners all clumped together up on the second level. I have never seen that many in one place.

 

I doesn't matter if I have full, Level 30, enchanted diamond armor...if a Creeper pops into view out of nowhere and blows up, I jump out of my skin in real life nearly every time! I'm sure that I was conditioned to do this when I first started playing and didn't know how to protect myself. Every such occurrence usually ended in death, and even though I know it won't now, it still gives me the willies!

 

I think my story is pretty bad. I just hate walking through my little personal house mine and walking into monsters when I'm not expecting it. They come at me and I have to run up the stairs so fast my heart is racing. I know not very scary but it's frightened me a few times before.

 

Why don't you just light the place up or bock off some of the areas from where mobs can potentially come through? If you light it up then mobs can't spawn anymore and if you block already-explored areas off you're good to go.

 

I am pretty sure everyone has experienced this in a cave. You find diamonds, hooray! Then, you hear sssss behind you and you know what you're in for, and of course you lose all of your diamonds afterwards as it fell in lava. The first time this happened to me, I nearly fell off my chair.

 

I would probably say that it's falling unintentionally to my death. It scares the crap out of me every time... never gets old.

That sudden realization as you start to plummet towards the ground is just the worst feeling. Even worse if it's near water and your inventory scatters into the sea.

 

Once, my friends and I were playing on a server together. We mined for a long time, and everything was going well. When we were very deep down, my friend decided it was a good idea to block up my exit with obsidian. I didn't want to waste my time and effort digging through it, so I started digging the stone directly above me. That was so stupid of me. On top of the stone was gravel that fell directly onto me and suffocated me to death. I nearly jumped out of my chair when that happened so suddenly.

(І wаs stіll fаіrlу nеw аt Міnесrаft, sо іnstеаd оf fіghtіng mоbs І usuаllу јust rаn) Ѕо І wаs bасkіng аwау frоm thіs сrеереr whеn І fеll dоwn іntо thіs dаrk, ореn аrеа. Тhе сrеереr fеll dоwn аftеr mе, аnd luсkіlу І kіllеd іt. І wаs stаndіng thеrе саtсhіng mу brеаth, whеn suddеnlу thіs оthеr сrеереr соmеs bеhіnd mе аnd blоws uр. І turn аrоund, аnd thеn АΝОТНЕR сrеереr fаlls dоwn rіght bеsіdе mе, аnd blоws uр. Іt wаs rеаllу hесtіс fоr mе, sо І hаd tо tаkе а lіttlе 5-mіn brеаk frоm Міnесrаft.

 

Once I was travelling down a cave and of course a creeper had stalked me. I hit it far and it blew up but I didn't realize that ceiling was made from GRAVEL! The whole ceiling collapse and I eventually crawled out. That was another mistake, a whole horde of skeletons and creepers awaited me. I turn around to run and a creeper blows up in my face and I jump from my chair.

 

I was in the middle of detailing a large mansion I was working on and all of a sudden BOOOOM a creeper came up and destroyed a huge section of the place and I had to take hours to repair it all back to the way it was..

 

Spiders man. Spiders just everywhere. Went down into a cave that I thought looked cool, got really dark. Was like, okay, I'll just get out my torches. Lit the place up and then these spiders all mauled me to death. Was just creepy, I've hated those things ever since.

 

Once I had just finished a wooden cabin I was working on in the woods near a mountain base and was getting dark, I was putting up torches, everything looked nice and good and then a goddamn creeper sneaks up from behind, I hear a hissssss and BOOM most of cabin is destroyed and im dead D:<
one of the first times i got attacked like that, I then learned to fear and protect myself from the creeper.
