There are a lot of terrifying pokedex entries. From child-nappers to dream-eaters, there is something out there that scares you at least a little bit if you bother to look up some of those less savory entries. Well, which do you think are the scariest?

    Spoink entry:

"Spoink bounces around on its tail. The shock of its bouncing makes its heart pump. As a result, this Pokémon cannot afford to stop bouncing – if it stops, its heart will stop. "

    All of Banette's entries.

Apparently I can't post links. Just Google it.

For the creepiest Pokemon entry it would have to be Cubone.
"It is called the Lonely Pokémon because of its tendency to keep to itself and avoid social situations, as it was apparently traumatized by the death of its mother. Cubone will often weep at night in mourning of its mother. When Cubone cries, the skull that it wears on its head vibrates and emits “a plaintive and mournful sound.” On the night of a full moon, the cries are said to be especially terrible. Cubone seems to recognize its mother in the moon, and so it howls with a particular sadness."

Phantump is like modern-day Cubone. Dude is literally the spirit of dead children, possessing a hollowed out tree trunk.

I think Cubone's is more sad than scary- especially the weeping! Lampent's is pretty creepy- "The spirits it absorbs fuel its baleful fire. It hangs around hospitals waiting for people to pass on"- as well as Gorebyss': "When it spots prey, this Pokémon inserts its thin mouth into the prey's body and drains the prey of its body fluids."

Houndoom - “if you are burned by the flames it shoots from its mouth, the pain will never go away.” That would scare the s**t out of me if I saw one.
