Seasonal playing

    I am a bit of a seasonal player when it comes to games. If the weather is poor, I am more likely to be inside at home and playing games. When the days get longer, I tend to be AFK. I have encountered many guilds/kins etc that are a bit demanding of my free time and want to kick people out who don't log in for a period of time.

    Do you think that seasonal players should just avoid guilds or should they just avoid the hardcore ones? Do you play consistently throughout the year?

    I am similar, except I am not seasonal. Basically, my idea is that I will never join a hardcore guild and only join a social one that does occasional raiding and dungeons. It doesn't make sense for me to join a hardcore guild, even if there are periods I want to do some consistent raidings.

    I tend to play during the winter when I can't get outside and do much of anything. However, I have spent a summer or two just playing games. It kinda sucked lol.

    It's the same for me. I play from time to time but not everyday. This is why I quit my previous guild. They wanted me to play on fixed hours but I just couldn't.
