    I felt that the max sensitivity was still to slow even all the way up I felt I wanted just a bit faster for more realistic speed.

    If you play on PC you could try editing the user.cfg file in the game. There's a setting for sensitivity for both pad and mouse from what it looks like. I did that in Dead Space 1 and was able to bump it WAY past the default max, which made turning around quickly bearable.
