Do you enjoy playing by yourself making your own story? or do you rather create your stories with your friends? I can't play single player because I get bored to easily. Multiplayer is where I learned how to play this game, and it's the only way I can play it!

I personally enjoy single player since I can take my mind off the world and have fun trying to build stuff like castles and such. I'm in the process of creating a floating fortress and if I was on a server, I would no doubt be distracted by whatever antics maybe going on to concentrate on my project.

I don't really enjoy single player that much personally. It got old after a while and now I only play multiplayer. I find it more fun to interact with other people than just trying to survive all the time.

For me, I enjoy playing multiplayer. single-player just gets really boring after a while. There's no economy to earn money in or friends to play with. Who can you celebrate finding diamonds with in a single-player lobby?

Same here. I feel that the whole social aspect of Minecraft is a lot funner than just mining endlessly in single player. You have friends to like and to betray on multiplayer. Also, it adds a PvP aspect which is really fun. Teaming up with your buddies to take on a whole server.

The only time I play multiplayer is if one of my siblings wants me to. I really only find Minecraft enjoyable in singleplayer. Part of the whole fun is that you get to be in a world that you can sculpt to your liking. I find multiplayer ruins that experience unless you're just blowing people up or whatever.

I like multiplayer servers only if I don't lag. I hate having to deal with lagging servers - at that point, I can just go back on my work and work on my creative projects instead.

Surviving with others, and overcoming objectives like rival factions, and the interacting of others is what I love too.

That's why I have never beaten the game on single player, it is so repetitive, and no interaction. found a diamond? cool... No bragging, just, found it, cool.

That is a different perspective entirely, and although it does make sense. I personally enjoy adventuring out myself far into the world, where i won't be bothered, make some friends, and keep the interaction.

I use to be a creative builder, but wasn't making much progress, so I gave up:L

Tell me about it. I'm just minding my own business just doing my thing...then bam, Leeroy Jenkins comes out all guns blazing and whatever was attracted to that sound now sees me. I now have to fight off whatever is attacking me and they either watch from the sidelines and take credit for my kill or run away to attract more enemies....Jerks.

I like to mix it up. I really enjoy building things in Minecraft, both in Survival and Creative mode. It's really therapeutic for me. I also enjoy being able to play with other people in PvP or survival. It's like playing an entirely different game at that point.

I like doing both. But I prefer to be alone than to be with my friends playing Minecraft. Me and my friends just killing each other or just screwing around and we never really done anything at all.

Lag is generally a serious issue for me on Multiplayer servers as I come from New Zealand and we don't have the fastest internet here. So I've ended up spending a lot of time on single player. If there was faster internet in my town I would probably enjoy playing on a lot more multiplayer servers, as they tend to have cool mods and things.

I like single player with the ability to do co-op. I don't like PvP much, unless I was in a game that has that option specifically as part of an MMO game mechanic. In a single player environment that allows to to connect to a hub with rooms for PvP, I'm less inclined to join them that way.

Minecraft is an exception though and so is Starbound. I think Co-op for those games would be pretty interesting. Though I haven't tried that with Starbound yet.

Yeah, the single player mode gets boring because so much is so predictable. At least with the multiplayer mode you can count on other people doing unexpected things to keep the game fresh.

I prefer single player games in MC over multiplayer as I really hate it when someone screws with the stuff I build. In some servers this isn't an issue, and I also don't mind if I'm just playing with friends and it happens as a joke. But for some reason, I really dislike it when strangers do it.

I prefer them both, equally. I like how I can build everything I want on Singleplayer but I also love to play with my friends online and when other people can come and visit what I built. I always try harder to built beautiful things on Multiplayer.
