Servers should have a Maintenance time. Yes or No

    I feel like these servers have been crashing and lagging way too much. I feel like they should have a time set on a certain day just for maintenance. I feel like more updates and less problems with the server if they completely have a maintenance period every week.

    If with that maintenance the severs would turn out more stable, than yes. Nowadays the servers are always lagging and going down, they really need some serious maintenance, definitely yes.

    Yeah, I've been lagging quite a bit recently and it's irritating. I wish they would do something like this.

    They should do a mandatory weekly server restart and maintenance like that of WoW. Say every Monday at midnight. This way, it doesn't obstruct players over the weekend which is when a large majority plays and it also happens when people are normally asleep. Mind you, midnight would be for the regional server in which it rests in.

    I think Monday at 11:59pm pacific time would be perfect since it would already be 3am in the east.

    If it would help with lag, then it would help and I'd be for it.

    They need much more maintenance. The random downtime are too frequent, they should devote a bit more time towards the game and make it easier for people to play! More people would play and less people would rage!

    Didn't they have a maintenance a couple days ago? It lasted for some time, but didn't really matter to me since I wasn't even home to play. Hopefully that fixed everything up.

    Yeah. The only time League have server maintenance is when they apply patches. They should have a weekly one.

    A set maintenance period, or even one that they announce seven days in advance, would do a lot of good for the servers and game as a whole. i wouldn't complain about that one bit.

    I haven't personally found any issues with the servers at all until now, I don't know on what servers you guys play, but on EUNE it works just fine. I know that EUW is kind of well-known for its downtime and laggy situation, but you have better players than you can find in Eastern Europe, haha. :)

    They could have a two hour weekly scheduled maintenance actually, yeah. Especially since pretty much every continent has their own servers now, so it would be easy to schedule it for times when there's the least traffic.

    I'd probably agree with this. Two hours weekly would be pretty good, just to stabilize the servers.

    I wonder if two hours would be enough, though. Some games that have regular maintenance take up to 6-8 hours. I kind of pulled that number out of my hat, since I have absolutely 0 idea how servers are maintained or what even runs on them in these cases..
