    I'm a huge final fantasy fan, but I haven't cared for any of their past few games. When I heard an online game was coming out ages ago I couldn't wait. So far I'm not too sure I want to even bother with how bad some of the recent FF games have been. So, is the online game worth it compared to how bad some of the newest games are?

    I tried this and quite like it, and this is coming from someone who hasn't played any of the other Final Fantasy games before. I like the combat system and the gameplay, and I'm actually considering purchasing some of the older games themselves.

    I never played the game, but it does look like it could be a fun game, but I would not pay to play the game because if your like me and get tired of mmo's quite quickly I would skip it.

    The skill system is very good : you don't have a specific class, and can learn anything with your character, and classes are also crafting. You can start as a templar and change to archer or become fisherman just by changing your main weapon. It is really neat! Also if you like the Final Fantasy universe, it is pretty awesome as you have all the lore and the little sounds of the FF games. I just hope they upgrade the engine because the game, while being reasonably nice to look at isn't that great compared to games from today like Guild Wars 2. The world just lacks color and vibrance.

    I agree with RMCMage. Try it but don't buy it. You will most likely enjoy it at first and then quickly get tired of it. It's pretty repetitive after a while.

    Oi, if you are a steam person if you wait a little longer it's coming out on steam. Mind you I'm talking about FFXIV. FFXI on the other hand is fantastic and already on steam.

    Well Final Fantasy XIV is nothing like Final Fantasy XIII, it's more of the fantasy type game, like FF9 or Tactics, with classes and jobs. I quite enjoy it though. I like that it's an MMORPG through and through, but it still maintains the Final Fantasy feel throughout.

    I think you would be surprised with this one! As a MMO goes, it's already one of my Favourites! The game seems to be very accessible for beginners, but has the depth for more advance players. Also, I love how the game forces you to play together with other players at some points in the game. I would say get it,

    Well, this will be my first time playing an MMO game from the Final Fantasy franchise. I just ordered the game and will be arriving in about a week or two, hope it lives up to its hype.
