Shin Megami Tensei anyone?

    Before there's Persona, there's Shin Megami Tensei......

    Fun Fact:
    The Persona series is actually a spin off of Shin Megami Tensei, but the Persona series grows so popular that it is now more well-known than the main Shin Megami Tensei games.

    The "Personas" in the Persona series are actually present in Shin Megami Tensei as well, only that they are referred as "demons" in the main franchise.

    I am a fan of the original Shin Megami Tensei series, and I think fans of Persona should give them a chance as well!

    The recent Shin Megami Tensei 4 is amazing! Anyone played it before?

    I never played a Shin Megami Tensei game but I know why the Persona series has gotten more attention and popularity. It's the name. SMT is very long and does not appeal to all audiences. I think it just appeals to those who like Japanese. "Persona" has more appeal. It's short but sweet. What does Shin Megami Tensei mean anyway? Devil Summoner?
