    Was thinking alot about this they Made a metro book then metro game now they should make a metro movie, good ideea hmm?

    When the game was launched, Glukhovsky was allready discussing with Hollywood about the movie rights.

    haha well if they do make the movie then its either gonna be really reall really bad. like huge russian accents, matrix like scene. really fake looking mutants. not a single scene shot in the real metro. OR. its gonna be reall really really good. Like real russian with english subtitles (like apocalypto), shot in the metro itself, and the mutants look good (like in avatar how they made the animals). so it all depends on that

    well it would be hard because it would be in russian i'd dout the america would EVER make a movie about that BUT if they do IM DEF SEEING IT

    Well, I think it could be a very good movie IF they make a movie about the book and not about the game, because movies based on videogames are all shit.

    If coordinated properly then a metro movie would be fantastic, i cannot wait to watch 'The Last Refuge' on blu-ray in 3d on my tv.

    Like so many others said, it all depends on how it's done. If they shoot at the right places, the atmosphere is right, right actors etc. You can hardly say it will be a fail before you know anything about an actual movie. But I could fear that it would be a hard movie to make.

    Im gonna see the movie if it comes out, but it depends alot on how they've made the movie.
    sure it can be a horror movie, but then DONT MAKE SO MUCH GORE, make the sounds ALOT more scarier, and most of all the ATMOSPHERE. xD
    Cant for it anyway :D

    if they do make the movie then i hope they add some good but un popular actors. i dont wanna see will smith or arnold schwarzneggar in metro XD

    There is only one way I would watch a Metro movie, and that was if it was filmed in Russia with Russian actors in Russian. I am sick of Hollywood...

    hey but look at the movie apocalypto. great movie in anciet aztec language. subtitle below through the whole movie. and its filmed (most of it) in real mexican locations.

    That would be enough motivation for me to learn Russian. On a serious note, that is a great idea. I play metro with the russian vo's and no subtitles, the truly immersive way. I love foreign movies, especially dead snow.
