Side Arms of Last Light

    Greetings

    As i have been previewing Last Light pictures and videos, I have noticed that there is currently Two side arms, Standard .44 Revolver with optional Stock, Suppressor, Extended Barrel & Optics & a Single Shot Pistol that fires 12x70mm Buckshot shells.
    Now from what i have read most of you want a Semi-Automatic Pistol, eg TT-33
    or a Makarov PM or PMM Model

    What side arm do you want ?



    Please share your thoughts & Opinions

    I dont see why it would'nt fit in, it is russian guns after all
    And the concern with them being semi-auto, the revoler was a semi so no problem :D
    so long as they dont make it too fast shooting, cod like, I dont mind.

    I wouldn't mind the semi-auto either. But I don't care if they have one with in the game or not either. Whatever they will do, it's gonna be awsome.

    I just wanna try out the buckshot side-arm. :3

    makarov for sure. its in the book so it should be in the game not to mention millions were made and that it was the russian side arm for a while so there should be at least one kicking around

    I agree, we should at least get Makarov's and Tokarev's. They are used by Russian Military and Police, so there should at least be parts laying around for them. I mean, they make more sense than US .44 Magnums everywhere.

    Yeah, a few more pistols/revolvers would be nice. But each should be balanced, just like the guns in Metro 2033. In that game, no one gun was too much better than any other, while some games have one epic weapon which makes all others obsolete.

    No worries, they have stated (multiple times because everyone is complaining about the minigun!) that ammo will be scarce, and that gun will be downplayed in the final. It was just getting showed-off in the demo, for selling purposes (but yeah, the fans don't like it, so it wasn't such a good ploy!) But I believe they will do a fantastic job in the final.

    I love the Revolver, and will be happy with any new pistols, but hopefully we'll see some Metro-made side arms too. I'd like to see what sort of pistols they could come up with. Maybe something like a Hellsing, but smaller and only single shot. Or a compact BB gun. It would be great to just get some variety this time - Revolver, Makarov, some interesting Metro-made stuff, anything really. (We need more of all types of weapons to choose from though)

    Personally I'd love a revolver that uses rifle rounds. Maybe with a slower rate of fire than regular revolver, and only loads 5 rounds, but does more damage - as well as the option to use military grade cartridges.

    it would be pretty hard to make a gun out of old metro parts the size of a pistol,not imposible but very hard. and they do have hand guns that load and fire one high cal. rifle bullet (i like:)) and also one called "the citizen protector" or something like that, that shoots these weird "long" skinny shot gun shells that have three or four big "ball bearings" in them, that would be cool to see in the metro.
