    I would like to hear funny stories from when people were noobs. I thought mossy cobblestone was diamond, and my friend thought a feather was a knife :p


    Whеn і fіrst stаrtеd mіnесrаft...іn 1.3.2 (shоut-оuts tо рlауеrs thеn) оn mу sесоnd dау (ІRL nоt іn mіnесrаft) thіs hарреnd. І hаd а соsу соttаgе wіth а whеаt fаrm оut bасk... thеrе wаs fеnсе аll thе wау rоund wіth а fеnсе аnd gаtе. Іt turnеd nіght whіlе і wаs stіll іnsіdе thе fаrm. А sріdеr јumрs оvеr thе fеnсе squаshіng 1 blосk оf whеаt. І іmеdіаtlу kіllеd іt. І wеnt оvеr tо whеrе thе whеаt hаd bееn сrushеd tо hое thе dіrt. Аs і dіd а сrеереr sраwnеd оn thе ехасt blосk аnd mоst оf thе fаrm аnd mу thе bасk wаll оf mу hоusе wаs blоwn uр. :( Тhаts thе wоrst thіng thаt hарреnеd tо mе.     I used to think if you dropped iron ore into lava it would smelt it instantly because my friend told me about lava buckets in furnaces. I wasted so much iron being that stupid XD. I also thought only swords and fists could do damage to enemies so if I had an axe I would just run away.

    I have quite a few dumb stories from when I was a noob. Here goes for the list.

    I didn't know beds were a thing that would bring you back to your house when you died.
    It took me over an hour to figure out how to open inventory because I didn't use a guide.
    I literally would spend hours wondering around lost because I forgot to remember where my house was and didn't know you could look at coordinates.

    I'm sure there are even more but those are the big stupid things I did that come to mind. It was pretty bad for the first few days of playing.

    My first few days of playing, I did not know how to get wood so I just punched the trees until I got their wood. However, when I needed stone, I thought that I could just punch stone and do the same thing. Little did I know, even though it took forever to punch, I got nothing in return. What a bummer.

    Noob moments of mine. First time I played, I had no idea what to do and I have no idea how to craft things so what I did was I just punched trees for 3 hours straight. I build a wooden house complete with everything and I built it using my bare hands literally.

    This was before I knew that sand blocks actually dropped instead of staying in the air. I was playing with a few friends and I decided I wanted to make a sandcastle to live in. I used my shovel and dug straight into a sand structure... and suffocated.

    I was once walking off into the forest to explore and gather new resources and I didn't realise when it got dark and monsters started coming at me and even though I left a trail of torches, I panicked like hell and ran to the nearest mountains and built myself a dirt house litterally out of dirt blocks just to protect myself from incoming monsters :D I just chickened out there untill sunrise. I laughed with my friends about it afterwards.

    This isn't the funniest story you'll ever hear, but it's one of the only one's I remember from my noob days :p I had just built one of my very first houses in Minecraft and thought I'd go out looking for something to eat, so I'd place torches down every few blocks.. then remove them right after to save torches.. I have no idea why I was so stupid. So eventually, I found food and started heading back, when I realized, that I was really stupid and had just removed all the torches leading to my house. Good times.

    My first time in the game I looked right at an enderman. I didn't even know what was happening and I really freaked out and I didn't go outside for literally days. I kid you not I about ran away from the computer it scared me so much! I was terrified of slenderman back then and I didn't have any idea about the mobs in MC! XD
