Anyone get this yet? I'm keen on getting it but would like to know what my fellow users think of it before doing so.

Lol. Well the DLC looks like fun but I never bought the game yet. I've been borrowing it from a friend for the past 7 months while he has borrowed black ops for the past 7 months...

I've been playing Skyrim for a very long while now. Many months, perhaps a year, and I've played it a lot. Although it is now beginning to get a little bit repetetive with all the same Nord-caves and the like, there's still sh*tloads left for me to explore, and I never find myself derping about in the game because of being bored. There's always something to do for me. That's why I don't feel like getting the DLC packs just yet. I might get them eventually, though, to rewake my passion for Skyrim :)

I feel the same way, I just buy the DLCs for the houses, opinions, and equipment I can use in the main game. Battle Trolls for the win! But seriously, Bethesda blew my freaking mind with this game. Next Fallout, gonna be the shit!

How dare you :O New Vegas was a great game. It just had a terrible radio and the world sucks compared to FO3

Edit: The only DLC I got for Skyrim is the Dawnguard add on, it's alright I guess but it wasn't really worth the amount my brother paid for it. I can't complain though, free DLC for me and some of the places you can explore are awesome. :p

New Vegas was glitchy on the 360 and laggy. Glad I didn't buy it. Fallout 3 gameplay was better and so was the story.

Lol all games like Fallout are full of glitches, Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3 are glitchy as fuck, never had a problem with lag though.

I actually prefer the story of Fallout NV and the gameplay was better? Ahaha it's basically the same but you can do more on New Vegas and it's easier to manage companions (if you decide to use them) as well as that you get hardcore mode which is the best thing they could have added to a game of this type.
Oh and I never played the games before number 3 but apparently New Vegas keeps to the old Fallout style too. The only thing I prefered about Fallout 3 was the world you play in and it's grittiness but the brutalness of the Dead Money DLC for New Vegas just means I don't even care about that.

    It's all personal opinion.

That completely devalues the points you made about the game. If you haven't played it, then don't call it shit.

I agree with Toshi. I played the previous Fallout games and New Vegas was like a godsend for me. It actually felt like Fallout and had much of the style, atmosphere, depth, humour and non-linearity of Fallout 2 that Fallout 3 lacked.

I played the game. Just because I didn't buy it doesn't mean that I didn't play it.

Did you also complete the side quests or explore the map, etc? I find that I get the most enjoyment out of these sorts of games when it really surprises me, like when I discovered Nipton for the first time, it brought a tear (of laughter) to my eye and there's other smaller things like booby trapped baby cots and teddy bears, the door on Fallout 3 that you open and behind it is a brick wall with "Fuck you!" painted on it.

    Little things like that.

Most of it. But it was just a lag fest. Framerate was dropping everywhere.

one of the few things I was that saddened with abot FO 3 and NW was that there was no real love characters to erm..love (yes this is the time to insult me for being a sissy milkdrinker)

Sure there were the prostitutes and sarah but still..
