Anybody here playing LR yet? I don't have it yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I've heard various reviews that seemed very positive. I liked the other two XIII games, so I will probably like Lightning Returns anyway, but I wanna hear ya'lls opinions!
I have not played it, but I have seen videos of the demo it looked pretty good I have heard even people that are not big into FF games even liked it so if your a fan of the series your probably love it!
Yeah, I've definitely read and heard some good impressions from both fans of FF, people that don't play FF and people that hate the XIII games. It definitely looks like it might be the best of the XIII games.
I would like to know about how good or bad is Lightning Returns as well. But I think it will at least give us a solid gaming experience. It was supposed to be the final game of the Lightning Saga, but knowing Square Enix they will find a way to bring her back......Also a Lightning figure for those who are interested:
It seems nobody in the forum has yet played the game, bummer. I would be the first to grab it and comment about it but Dark Souls II is coming soon so I don't want to get into any long games, lol. BTW, that figurine is pretty cool!
I've played this game, and I must say I like it, but... I won't call it Final Fantasy. The gameplay remind me more a MMORPG than a offline game. You only go in party with Lightning, and have lots of quests, MMO style. There is a time limit too for the quests, so you must be fast (I dislike that point). In conclusion it's not a bad game, but very different. If you like Lightning you would like it, there is a lot of fanservice on the game xD
