Hello. I must apologize: Im in a bit of hurry and I didnt find a proper existing thread.

First I must thank 4A Games for the lovely game. It was / is very atmospheric, scary and funny. Pacing on the story a direct bullseye. For example: After escaping the nazis, wrestling with the horrible mutants you get to relax a bit and watch art recovering. Sounds and music both are very well done. My ATI HD 4850 1GB has some problems with the game, and I have to run it on normal / low settings, but the visuals are still rather nice eyecandy. (My GPU is starting to fall apart physically. The bearings on the fan make a noise, and it overheats.)

My biggest complaints about the game are the way too forgiving "blind & deaf" AI on the human enemies, and the wave defence sequences against the mutants. Also on ranger difficulty when Artyom suddenly is unable to look at his magazine pouches or visually check the ammo is a bad idea. Good ideas are meant to be recycled / stolen! "Red Orchestra 2" has a good idea there. Holding down "R" the player detaches the magazine, judges its weight and, puts it back. Another key will bring a "HUD on demand" and tell how many magazines player is currently carrying. Not the precise ammo count.

And now to the actual "What I would like to see in the game":

    First and foremost:

a relatively long DLC adventure with Khan into some really weird ass anomally. Shooting would be completely or at least mostly optional. Backround story could be something like that Polis scientists send Artyom on a mission to gather samples of the new plants, vegetables, and fruits to determine if some of them would be eatible. There might be some mutated vitamine bomb, "natural" antibiotic growing somewhere. The point of the DLC would be a sightseeing tour in Moscow and the "WTF is going?!" anomally. And Khan.

    Second:

A total counterweight for that hippie anomally adventure, where you must shoot like bullets are about to go out of fashion. Backround story could be something like that the Rangers assault and liberate a station from the Stalinists or nazis or bandits. Artyom has the command of an infiltration team, who must sneakysnipystabby their way to the other end of the objective and seal the doors on the other end to cut off enemy reinforcements. Then fight their way back to the main assault force. Save civilians and hostages on the way. Then mop up and take prisoners for interrogation.

    Third:

A metro the video game 2.5. Or "enhanced edition" which would bring all kinds of nice tweaks and fixes. Most importantly give human AI enemies ears and eyes. Better AI naturally means that some of the levels or areas have to be expanded and redesigned.

Metro the video game 3 could have at least some "free to roam" sightseeing at Moscow.

Well, thats that. Keep up the good work!

Sorry to bumputy and answer my own message, but the announced DLC:s are close enough. ... I will sue you for reading my mind! Copyrights or something.

Need more sightseeing in the stunningly beautiful Moscow!

In relation to that last: What is that mutant that makes that "OooooooooooUUUoooooooooorrrr...." Sound. The one that sounds a bit like an air raid warning? I want to make that hard road thru the wasteland and kill it. Or at least see it.

It is a very clever ambient sound. Very menacing. Very fitting. Very atmospheric.

    Keep up the good work!
