Definetly excited, but I'll wait for more news before deciding on taking it.

  3. My hype in SW games ended with Jedi Outcast and KotoR games. Or better say "as soon as lightsabers stopped being deadly and became another "fixed damage" P.O.S. due to ballance issues".

X-Wing series were awesome, Rogue Squadron was awesome, Shadows of the Empire was awesome, Republic Commando was awesome, Jedi Outcast series were awesome. Everything else (Read as "newer games designed to appeal to a wider auditory") is bleh.

100% aprroved! Well i just miss the old days when the games where games not some commercial product that are today...Well i tryed Force Unleashed 1 and 2... well i cant say that the games where totaly sh#t and i liked some moments, but the lighsabers meaning in new Star Wars game is the same as like some random pistol in FPS game. You can easilly bit the cr#p of stormtroopers by using yuor force lighting or just force push and that rule is for most of the enemies in the nowadays star wars games..
Well i didnt try'ëd the new the new star wars MMO yet, but im not into MMO games. The last mmo that i truly played was Runescape and it was in like from 3 grade to 5 (now i feel shame about it...)
One of my friends is into MMO's and got me started palying LOTRO (lord of the rings online), but i dropped out after reaching level 20 i think. Because every MMO for my is another "Kill 20 bears-get XXX gold" thing. Now we wants me to play LoL, but i dont think i will do that..

A Star Wars MMO piqued my interest... for like two minutes. The only one I ever played was Pirates of the Caribbean Online, which was actually pretty fun :3 it was such a waste of time though.

I'm still waiting for Battlefront 3. Until then they will have to pull a miracle to make me impressed at a star wars title.

Ha, I have been waiting six years for Battlefront III, I know your feel bro. I feel like our expectations for it are so high that we'll never be able to enjoy anything they try and make, if they choose to start development of Battlefront 3. I still play Battlefront 1 & 2 a lot, they're great games. All in all, I'm glad they have a new Star Wars game. The whole Lego Star Wars stuff was... well, not my cup of tea, and the premise for this "1313" game looks interesting.

Star Wars is already milked cow and if you dont feed it with some grass ( new film or TV seires ), then you wont get more mlik from it ( computer games, comics, animes and so on).

I played the first Star Wars MMO, Galaxies, solely for the space combat. The space combat, along with the extensiveness of ship customization and space pvp was amazing, alone worth the monthly pay. Gameplay on the ground was pretty weak though, I normally only dicked around when I wasn't flying... Good times indeed

    ^ this

There's a reason why I enjoyed playing Republic Commando and the Battlefront Series (except Elite Squadron) more than playing any other Star Wars game which focused on the JEEDAI. It's because I used guns (even if the guns in RC were kinda lame and BF had no sights) not lightsabers!

Lightsabers are now an obsolete weapon imo. Like Komodo said, they stopped being slice your arm kill ya instantly, and became more like a huge glowing stick which you whack people with. Anyone miss the good ol' days when you would press 'tab'/'~' and type dismemberment? Yeah, I miss those tims in whic I could slice people apart just by igniting my lightsaber walking to them. That was how dangerous lightsabers were, and that's is how dangerous they should be. They're not glowing baseball bats! They're swords! SWORDS RECYCLED IN SPACE

If I wanted to have a great jedi experience, I'd reinstall my Jedi Knight. But since this is a bounty hunter story... I'm just hoping there would be no lightsabers to ruin it.

An excellent point. I loved RC and the squad commands were very intuitive but weapons were crap in campaign mode. The assault rifle was basically a nerf gun: it took forever to kill super battle droids by yourself.

The Force Unleashed really popularized the "glowing bat" syndrome. You basically have to use your force powers for EVERYTHING if you want a chance at beating the game on the higher difficulties. But hey, ya can't.. always get... what ya want... (Rolling Stones anybody?)

    USER REMOVED VIDEO NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I loved BF 1 + 2 and RC and KOTOR 1+2. (still my fav rpg EVER) TOR killed KOTOR. Should have just made KOTOR 3. Would have been epic but NOOOOOOOOOO mmo was the choice. Should have at least made it good.
