Star Wars Roleplay Character/Off-Topic Thread

    This is the character and Off-Topic thread for the Star Wars Roleplay which I shall soon create. For those of you that wish to join just say "I wish to join" or I'm joining" and then when enough people join (3 seems to be enough for the start.) we shall decide on the Era in which the Rp will be set.

    Here is the Character Application.

    This is my example
    Name: Jake Uruk-Ti
    Race: Human
    Allegiance: Galactic Rebellion
    Skills: Agility, Leadership, Precision, Force and Intelligent
    Force User? Yes

    Appearance: Brown hair, Blue eyes and clothing
    Equipment: Lightsaber, Sniper Blaster, Hand Blaster
    Background Jake grew up like hundreds of other children in the Galaxy, not knowing their Fathers. At the slight mention of the word 'Father' his mother would give him a look that would chill the bones of the Emperor himself just before she would begin crying again. He was raised on the planet Naboo where he experienced fully the oppression of the Galactic Empire. This drove him to hateful thoughts against the Empire and begin acts of rebelliousness. None of these involved any danger until he was approached by a Rebel commander who offered for him to work for the Rebels as a Saboteur. This when things became extreme, he would now have to risk his life carrying explosives to destroy Imperial equipment. He accepted the offer and began his work for the Rebels as a Saboteur. Jake has currently completed eleven different missions/contracts for the Rebellion.

    A star wars rp?! COUNT ME IN! I say we have it set during the same time as the game star wars TIE fighter, following a coup deat of the emperor would be interesting.

    This has quickly gotten off-topic, I agree that it should be set in the Galactic Civil War. Maybe we could start in the Great Jedi Purge then work our way through the events such as the Battle of Yavin, the events in the TIE Fighter game, the Battle of Hoth and so on.

    prefect, I agree. I recommend having a time skip after a while *perhaps after the events of the game?) to post empire, where our imaginations can be a bit more free.

    I also suggest giving our char's Force levels *if they have any* BEFORE we start the rp, to prevent giant power ups.

    Dude, the last post on this thread was from 2013, and that wasn't even an actual RP post -it was just a short bio on one of the characters....No actual RPing has been done, on this thread, whatsoever!. Nothing wrong with trying to start this thread back up, though; but don't be discouraged if no one joins (the RP idea didn't work out when this was made, chances are that it won't, even now).

    I didn't have the heart to ban him in case he was just a stupid kid who wanted to be social on the internets, but I'm beginning more and more to realize it just has to be one of those intentional spammers. o_O

    EDIT: I just realized that I mixed between him and the other new guy who's been posting a lot. Never the less, this guy's probably a spammer too.

    There have been some strangely named member, appearing at the bottom of the homepage, lately on the forum; and, I'm not sure if you remember, but I once posted up the forums demographics, up on a thread It said that the majority of our visitors come from India (Spam Central). I went to check that website where I got the information, but I didn't provide that part anymore.

    And that time when you asked Harley about the people who own this forum: I found another website that gives out that information here. <though, in that site, you need to type in the name of the forum and answer the security question. The information about the owners of the site is listed toward the bottom.

    Edit: Just to make it easy, I copied the company information and uploaded it:

    Then there's one item, on that list, that pops a question in my head: "Registrar Registration Expiration Date 2015-05-04." Is that going to affect us, here, in anyway? Will the forum finally be our's?

    Wow, fascinating find. Well done, I am impressed! I doubt they'll let the forum go, it's probably a deadline for updating the contract or some small stuff like that.

    Well, of course. It's only in the best interest, of a peasant, such as myself, to do, so that the Forum Lords may be satisfied :bowdown:

    And I'm sure you can track him down using this website: SPOKEO . It's kind of scary that all your registered info can be given out, to total strangers, for a small fee. Of course, you can get some very small info, for free, but It's not enough to get a good lead. I already searched for the dude -though, it wasn't a very thorough investigation- and I didn't come up with anything, besides that there are about 50 different Daniel Clarks, in Las Vegas.

    And I haven't seen Taken; but, having seeing other Liam Neeson movies, I have a general idea of what he's capable of. ;)
