Starbound, Worth getting?

    Hey folks.
    Sorry for getting in and out of the forums, but my life varies a lot, hehe.

    I was just wondering if anyone of you guys have played Starbound yet, and perhaps what your opinions is of it? For those of you who doesn't know what it is; it's a bit like Terraria and FTL (Faster than light). I want to try it but at the same time Im afraid I will only play a little and then it will just be in my Steam library doing nothing. :/

    If you liked terraria than yes but you should watch TotalHalibut and jesse cox co-op

    FTL was amazing, but I hated Terraria.

    A friend of mine is absolutely obsessed with Starbound though. So if you liked similar games you should get it.

    To my knowledge it's still in early alpha or some form like that so I'm going to stay away from it till at least beta. Already preordered a key. I'm looking forward to it, but nothing crazy. And yeah, if you liked terraria then you'll love this. I like to think of it as tekkit for minecraft.

    Hmmm.... I kind of liked Terraria, but honestly Starbound looks more intresting. Im not sure :/

    :lol: :lol: I live in El Paso. Just to get things strait: There're people here do not have a giant taco wheel in their home to determine what type of taco shell to eat, nor do people throw crazy parties because a stupid girl figured out something stupid, and those cactuses in the background don't grow over here.
