    Has anybody played this game? (Mostly talking to Xbox users) It breathes new life into a dieing genre, it has new ideas that are either poorly or brilliantly executed. For some reason though I can't seem to find it on Xbox Live Marketplace.

    its delayed in aus because it was nearly broken at launch but if i find a cheap Xbox360 i might MIGHT pick this up

    i hav'nt bought it, yet..! its got some interesting reviews.! i downloaded the free demo, a little buggy, but good fun. it plays a little like dead rising in that. Game area looked good, and seemed pretty big, i ended up going all GTA and looking for zombies to mow down with my car. The demo doesnt touch too much on some of the expanded ideas in the game though, like being desperate for supplies, or surviving through the night. But, its cheap enough to buy the full game!
    Really though, i will buy it to support them in making the follow up... The MMO version...!

    I played the demo and actually quite enjoyed it, considering a purchase.

    I saw some game play and it seems like a lot of fun. What's funny is that the only indie game on XBLA to outsell it in the first few days was minecraft and that game already has 12 year old boys following it.

    i really like the look of it heres hoping Dead state (fallout 1-2 style game) is just as good

    Some people don't like the idea of losing resources and survivors even if the Xbox is turned off.

    Oh I did not know that. I find that stupid. If someone doesn't have time to play your game you shouldn't punish them. They gave you money.

    They didn't add it to punish players they did it to immerse the player in the experience, if you rest so do your survivors. If a survivor is in need of rest or something is being built when you turn your Xbox 360 off the survivors will continue to rest, allowing them to be fully rested when you turn the 360 back on.

    so its like those Ipod game "cooldown timers" this would be a good idea as long as drastic things dont happen (everyone dieing etc.)

    Well if someone doesn't have time then guess what they lose. The fact that you constantly have to get on to check and make sure your hours of work didn't go away because you had real life things to do.

    didnot we just get the R18 rating? well i expect gta 5 to go aswell shame really if i am old enough to go in the millitary vote and buy a house, i think i can handle dick jokes in SR4
